Triple post, but a valid one nonetheless. (I really wish poor Lollerskates [my dog] hadn't died. The depression is quite bothersome).

Anyway, I''m pretty sure that his Borox is innocent in regards to his suspicious comment. I'd share my proof with you if one of you wasn't the one who killed my dog. Needless to say, I suggest you take me on my word.

Furthermore, I would not be opposed to investigating the couple a bit more.

We don't have much time left now, but nobody else besides William has posted, so my comments hardly make much difference anyway. But I want to clarify before the day ends, Borox is not cleared by any means. In regards to his lovers comment, I am almost sure that there were no malicious intentions, so we can't rightly lynch him on that basis alone. Tomorrow, we should really check out Borox further, like I wanted to tonight.

Oh yeah, and it'd be cool if people would actually post.

Changing a vote simpy on the premise 'religious people can't be bad' is nonsense to me, there have been plenty of nutty religious types.
Anyway, I suppose we can do it f1fths way. Maybe we won't be going in so blindly then.

I would however like to return to CMC now however, as something I witnessed gave me the impression he knows someone here a little better then he is letting on. What kind of people know each other well in these troubled times?

Just in case you didn't bother to read the entire set of rules, let me read you a short quote. "The vast majority will not necessarily tell you what you want to know; very often it will just be a random observation about that character. I have a large cache of unimportant facts about each character lined up."

And you say you are totally convinced that I am scum, because you received a "random observation about me" saying that I've decided to change up my wardrobe a bit. What retarded logic is that?

Seems like cmckinny got a little defensive of this accusation, even though it was just a "random observation. Looks like it hit a nerve. Not only this but animorph resumed this course of action. It might lead someone to beleive that he had more info then he was letting on. But one things for sure, cmckinny reaction is not one you'll get from a calm towny, but a paranoid scum.

Well, that's that. Looks like a no-lynch. I'm pretty surprised, actually. Well, Here's a scene for y'all (I'm not southern US, but I really feel the English language needs a plural second-person pronoun:

The fervor wound down, and the residents of Evergreen Drive found that they didn't have as much will to kill as they did previous days. Perhaps it was the poor outcome of the previous day's decisions, and perhaps it was the way F1fth pmchugh announced his name change at that dramatic moment... but no consensus was reached, and it began to get dark outside. Everyone turned, and left the meeting hall, which now had begun to get a little messy. Paper cups and crumpled sheets of paper littered the floor, and chairs that had been overturned during intense moments had yet to be uprighted. Nevertheless, it was still a place of business, and as they filed out of the room, there was an air of persevering quiet determination. Even in this moment of indecision, the people knew that they had a chance, and though it would take a lot of concentration, and a bit of luck, they couldn't give up hope on coming out of this alive and well.

Night's almost over; a few of you have already received "Your Night in Neighborhood Mafia" PMs.

I'd also like to issue a public apology to DRoZ for never waking him up... I suppose it works, since he's an old lady who would be affected more by the drugs... but it wasn't intentional.

I was going to let him post much later than anyone else, because she's so old, but I was going to wake her up eventually. But you're right, I do try to approximate the effects based on the character's strength.

A Conspirator Caught!

Postby Ditocoaf on Fri Jun 20, 2008 5:24 pm

As the dwindled ranks of the neighborhood looked at eachother along the street, they noticed something strange -- there were four less of them than there were last evening. The seven people left quickly tried to figure out who was missing, and soon they were all jogging towards F1fth's house, and grabbing his key from under the "Welcome" mat.

They found him in the hallway, next to his upstairs bedroom, with a nasty wound on the head -- it looked as if he had been hit hard in the back of the head with a blunt object. The ones in the front turned away quickly, and so did each of them as soon as they saw. Someone noticed some scratch paper lying around his living room, on which he had taken notes about his dog's apparent ability to detect killers... the paper was crumpled and torn, but still readable. Everyone's heart sank, but they were becoming used to this horrible feeling... whoever was killing off their neighbors seemed to be unstoppable. Some of them began to prepare plans to move from the neighborhood, and quickly.

F1fth pmchugh (Dog Owner/investigative > Depressed Man/limited) is dead.

Walking quickly back onto the street, they walked straight to the house of the next absent person -- FloresDelMal. Inside, they soon spotted her lying on her back on the stairs. There was dried blood running in a series of coagulated waterfalls down to a pool at the base. Eventually, someone had the nerve to turn her over -- revealing a knife wound in the back, into her heart. One detail, however, changed the scene from one of despair to one of surprise. Lying a few steps above her on the stairs was a large, heavy, ornamental candlestick, caked in blood. Further (reluctant) investigation of her corpse revealed a gun.

FloresDelMal (Barista/killer) is dead.

A search of her house and shop did not reveal any further clues, or any important papers at all...

Stepping into the street again, they were greeted by mr. incrediball, just emerging from his house (you guys decided that ink was the wife, right?). He looked upset and tired, and explained that Inkl0sed had passed out last night, and couldn't be awakened. He planned to stay with her until she woke up, and would be along to the meeting shortly. [mr. incrediball may post within the first seven player posts of this morning, but then will be unable to post until the time that ink recovers].

Day 4 begins

With 9 alive it takes 5 to approve execution..

A few things I want to mention:
--I consider "roles," "characters," and "players" as separate things. The character is the story, the who, the in-story person. The player is, of course, the person on the forums controlling them. The "role" is comprised of what actions they can take, what their win condition is, and what limitations or effects are on their play.
--As always, it is possible to observe or investigate dead people if you so choose.
--Any comments on how the game is being run, please feel free to PM them to me. I'm always open to constructive criticism (or compliments :) ). Also, it would be very interesting for me to hear your thoughts and theories; it's easier and more fun to mod when I know what you've figured out, or what you're wondering.

Well its good to be awake again, now the things I've noticed during my "slumber"... I didn't come upon anything that induced my poison as borox had theorized, it was a conscious effort on someone's part, though I don't know who. Now that flores is dead, how will militant get his headache relief? This is troubling because if we can't figure out how to get around his pr then we will practically have a useless member of our neighborhood, which could only help the scum of this town. The relationship I still consider to be the best lead at the moment, and I do still think that it is just ink that is the scum, and not necessarily mr.i, they of course didn't know one another long, and mr.i is very passive to Ink's dominant role, so I think it is definitely within the realm of possibilities. Also Mr.I is there anything you can tell us about the condition of your spouses sudden passing out... Any details you may have? The lead with skoffin about the bulge and wire seem interesting, although it seems as though skoffin isn't cluing any of us in on that right now, and I suppose if the majority trust her than I can too. Remember to give MR.I a chance to speak before time runs up on him.

Sorry for the double post, but I just noticed the bit in dito's post about it is possible to observe the dead. Now surely he wouldn't have wrote that if there wasn't any good information to be found, and more than likely in someone who died recently. If we can make a plan to observe those recently departed (would probably need to double up observations to discourage the scum from lying about the contents of the observation) then I think we could glean the pertinent information within.

The player to post the most today will receive a .1 bonus score!
Any player posting less than half as many as the winner will receive a .1 penalty!

Militant, inkl0sed, and mr. incrediball are exempt from both conditions.

hai guyz!

well, i'm sorry to say that i have absolutely no idea why ink's comatose today... dito hasn't told me any more than he's told you...

now, so that i had something useful to say before signing off, i got round to observing someone today (2nd time in the game)

so, in case they are needed today, here are my observations during the game:

1: (day 2) sam isn't a hard worker. in fact, he doesn't work at all. he plays Xbox.

2: (today) william hasn't brought his briefcase to the meeting today. despite doing so every other day.

i can't really read too deeply into either of them... unless will's suitcase has something to do with me and mrs. i. meh.
