He did make a claim somewhere that he found out that Fircoal was a non-believer.

I haven't investigated anyone. I made an assumption (based on MM's investigation result of bloody toe) that Fircoal is the stepsister of cinderella, therefore being an unbeliever.

I did not know that fir was switched, and if he was then it's pretty obvious selin is also a cop and got fir as scum, while I thought I investigated fir but thanks to the busdrive I investigate selin. Not that difficult

That clears most grey issues for me. My assumption that Iliad is scum was based (again) on MM's post stating that Iliad and me are on opposite sides. As I'm not scum I thought that Iliad should be scum.

Iliad's result of Fircoal being a believer was wrong as Fircoal and me were bus driven. Iliad got the result for me being a believer, not for Fircoal.

I've been thinking about all the identity crisis people claiming their former and current roles in order to figure out which of them is now scum, but there are some downsides. 1) We might be asking the miller's daugher to claim, if she was part of the mixup too. If rumpelstiltskin is still after her, that would not be a good idea. 2) Animorph was part of the identity crisis but he's dead now. It might not be possible to solve this logically without knowing if his role had changed too.

So, it might be better not to focus too much on figuring out who switched into what role exactly and look at what other leads we have. Here are some contradictions:

1)
mr. incrediball claims to have been Frau Trude
ga7 claims to have been Frau Trude

2)
Flores claims that nobody visited ga7 night 3
nagerous claims that he tracked ga7 to animorph night 3
ga7 claims to have tried killing someone night 3 but failed; it was not animorph

3)
Iliad claims that he investigated Ficoal night 3 and got that he was a believer
MountainLion claims to have tracked Mandy switching Fircoal and Selin
This means Iliad was actually investigating Selin and got that he was a believer
Minister Masket claims to have been told by Iliad that Iliad and Selin are on opposite sides
LSU and Selin claim Selin is a believer; Iliad claims he is a believer

Conclusions:
1) Either MIB or ga7 is lying about his previous role. I don't see how this is very important though, if they both have new roles now. Not worth lynching over today.
2) Either both ga7 and Flores are lying or nagerous is lying/got a wrong result from his track action. Again, since this is concerning ga7's role before the role switch, I don't think it's worth lynching over today.
3) Either Iliad is scum or Selin is scum. Selin was not only cleared by LSU, but even by Iliad himself. Thus, Iliad must be scum. Neither of them have been part of the role switch. Iliad should be the lynch for today.

Good analysis, but wrong conclusions

Conclusion 3 is explained now by Iliad's post. Iliad may be still a scum (cop) with a low possibility, but more likely Iliad is a townie.

Conclusions 1 is very important, because it states that either ga7 or mr. inc. is still lying after the ball. Only scum will lie in such a position. Based on the investigation result of MM about ga7 (with bowl of lentils) ga7 was most probably Cinderella's stepmother, unbeliever. As he claimed to be Frau Trude after the ball, he probably hoped that the real Frau Trude, an unbeliever, won't reveal himself. However Mr. Inc. posted that he was actually Frau Trude before the ball (without having the necessity to do so). That shows most likely that ga7's claim was made up and he is still a scum. Of course there is a very low probability that Mr. Inc. may be lying, but this would have been a very stupid and poor play of Mr. Inc. without a reason to do so. That's why I believe that ga7 is still scum (he is either Frau Trude, unbeliever after his role change now or he is still Cinderella's stepmother, unbeliever).

The other way I can think of to balance this is to have all mafia keep their old role, or only swap town roles with town roles and mafia roles with mafia roles. Fircoal was obviously one of Cinderella's evil stepsisters before the swap. He might be someone else now, but I'm sure he should still be mafia.

I think LSU's view on it makes more sense, but I find your theory on Fircoal possibly having faked the PR more credible either way. If someone was cult and got swapped, it might have worked out as him staying in the cult and the new recipient of his role not being cult... Well, not sure. That reminds me of Mandy claiming not to have changed roles despite having the damning disguise, but it sounds like Mandy is town...

I think I understand what you meant. No need to elaborate any further. You misunderstood the question in the first place.

Droz and ga7 are correct. The invitation clearly wrote you cannot dress up as yourself. Thus, mr. incrediball is lying. Question: does this make mr. incrediball a better choice to lynch that Fircoal?

you see, i wasn't given the option to dress as myself. when i got my role pm, i didn't notice the words "frau trude" written before my role. right from the beginning of the game up until the day after the ball i played believing i was a nameless serial killer. when tal sent me my invite to the ball, he gave me a list of characters to dress as. being the unfortunate fool that i am, i decided to go as frau trude, based on the fact that i didn't know the name, and figured no-one else would decide to go as her. when tal posted the breadcrumb message describing how frau trude was responsible for the death, i assumed this was a side-affect of my costume.

earlier today, frenchie claimed his "former role". thinking that it was unlikely for there to be two SKs, i checked back to my original role PM, and, sure enough, there it was.

now, i can only assume that me deciding to attempt to dress as myself was failed, and i went to the costume dressed as no-one. which, incidentally, is the same as going as myself.
