I apologize for my lack of posts but since I haven't played in awhile I find this day 1 incredibly fucking tedious. However things really seemed to have picked up in the last couple pages.

Ditto- CC mafia rarely has any sort of rationale, to try and force it to will do nothing but make you pissed off (as you've already found out). Trust me on this one, don't let your emotions get involved in this game, emotions and mafia just don't go well together and don't over think it, you'll just set yourself up for anger/disappointment.

lovo obviously can't post, not that we haven't figured that out yet...

FOS: Salubri, your motivation for claiming was...?

And it's good that all us 'mafia quitters' are in this game, shows how well we follow through on things. :)

Hi, my name is F1fth, and I'm addicted to mafia.

I find it ironic that the last time (before you had to be replaced) you popped up all pissed off because people were voting you you were darth sidious in Lovo's game :P

Anyway, one question for Ex: are you a survivor too?

And I find it ironic that after all the games we've played together you still haven't realized that the 'getting pissed because you're voting me' thing is an act, and one that works a majority of the time, especially against new players (it kept me alive for like 8 days in William's last game as scum). :geek:

Salubri... That's fine, it's not that big of a deal I was just curious to your motivation. But for future reference, hold out on the claim as long as you can unless there's strategic significance.

Give yourself up peacefully AD, I know your scum... ;)

Well, as I've said, I have the same role as dito - so I find it suspicious - but to all intents and purposes, yes, I have no stated allegiance just yet (and pre-emptively I'd like to stop people shouting "scum! oh, ooh, scum!" at me) and if I get killed I lose, and if I don't make the two vote counts per day

Of course, you could be paranoid and are just hoping that the doc will protect you tonight knowing that you're a probable target. . .just my musings

Don't worry, that's all I can see as well. But what's done is done, I suppose. I have no idea on what to think of the Dito/Exile thing though. Is one lying, and if so, which one is it? Bah.

I have a theory that at this point really can't be proven, but knowing Skoffin I wouldn't put it past her. There are no "real" scum in the game. When she was trying to get me in the game she talked about it just being a lot of random kills and stuff and as a result I have my doubts that we have actual "scum" among us. It's a crazy theory, but one I wouldn't put past her. I personally believe that both of them are historians as Skoffin is pretty well known for submarining a bit and as mod she wouldn't be allowed to do so without having people constantly bitching at her for vote counts. She covered that by giving us the historians.

That wouldn't tell us for sure. There's still the possibility of them both having the same role, or both being scum. If only one of them is lying however, I would bet money that it's exile since his claim came after. Both could be telling the truth, however since I don't doubt skoffin would make a role like this to save herself the minor insignificance of doing vote counts. Don't dismiss the possiblity that they are both lying though. I know that this is the first day, but if there is a scum group in this game that can talk during the game, then this would be a very good claim to get yourself and a scum buddy to the last day. Survivor is an excellent fake-claim (look at how it got the pressure off dito) and a vote-counting survivor makes it all the more believable.

I want to draw everyone's attention to something though:

Skoffin wrote:[color=red] *Slips a $100 into Dito's pants* >>

I assume this was because of his vote counts? Well I could just be blowing hot air here, but if skoffin was expecting him to do vote counts, then why would she reward him (i say reward even though he didnt really get "rewarded" per se, but I couldn't figure out a better way to word it). I doubt this is important, but it's just something that caught my eye.

Anyway, I am still for lynching one of em, just to check it out. Someone has already said lynching a survivor would be a waste of a lynch, but we don't know if they are telling the truth, and do you really think we can get a better lynch on day 1? We usually end up wasting the lynch on day 1 anyway.

So I guess LoVo can't post, but there haven't been anymore announcements in the past couple days. I guess we wait to see if the voice(s) help or hurt us.

That's it for now I guess.....oh and the kitty thing was a joke. I like just kitties. They r cute n cuddly :D But if you guys wanna pin something on me for it, I have a great theory as to why me calling myself a cat could be a scum tell =P~

Huh... it doesn't say anything about me losing, explicitly. It just says I "must", as part of "keeping accurate accounts."

That's obviously skoff joking, of course, but when I saw it, I thought she was coming a little close to giving away my role. Players often make vote counts in games, but mods don't usually acknowledge it.

QFT

That may be true... but no matter what, we shouldn't assume it's true. Scum would just love for us to think that, giving them almost a free ride.

Skoffin would have to be a real bitch to put 30 people in a game and have no scum in it. Both the theory and AD's QFT I find suspicious as it is almost like your trying to exonerate yourselves from later blame by stating ooh im town as I supported the there must be no scum theory!!

Eh I don't think that she would make a game with no scum at all. I just think that it's Skoffin being lazy, and forcing them to do the vote counts for her.

I agree with the others in finding this plausible, but unlikely. The day 1 narrative made it quite clear that there were bad guys and good guys and its unlikely that was thrown in just for kicks to mislead town.

There's no way to know unless we take the idiotic course of action and lynch 'em both. I find that this would make a wonderful setup for a pair of 3rd party people trying to keep out of the spotlight. If we lynch one and it turns out he's telling the truth, we'll immediately believe the other. If he turns out to have lied through his scummy teeth, the other will say that they were right all along and that we were right to listen to them and lynch the other guy [blah, blah, blah...] All they would have to do would be the two vote counts. So long as they were to keep that up, we'd ignore them. Granted, I wouldn't put it past skoffin to put 2 or more historians in a game just so she won't be bothered by vote counts.

I'm finished babbling for now, sorry if it makes no sense, I'm just typing my thoughts as I think 'em.
