Seriously ppl, how long will the remaining 7 voters ignore this young man cry for help, be a bit compassionate and put him out of his misery.

Why are you so dead set on lynching him? Something about the way he's acting has been bothering me. Like for instance this whole thing has been a ploy to get a jester lynched...

Man... people must have very low opinion of my mafia skills... I guess I hadn't realized how much arguing had screwed me over. Do you really think I would go about the Jester role by actually asking people to lynch me? I would be much more subtle than that. At least I would hope I would. Although I guess the role of Jester is the easiest role in the game:
1) Look at the game from the perspective of town.
2) Say what you think.
3) Wait to be lynched.
I've (too late) discovered that the way to survive in this game, as town, mafia, or survivor is:
1) Look at the game from the perspective of town.
2) Make ambiguous statements that can't be interpreted as you actually caring about the game.
3) If people suspect you, defend yourself without becoming defensive.

Anyway, like I said. Any game that's 30 pages long on day 1, most of it pertaining to my lynch in some way... well there's no way I can keep all this in my head for the rest of the game. And there's no way I can survive more than a few more days; I know how the game works. I've already lost. Those of you on my bandwagon, think to yourself: is there anything I could do or say right now that would make you unvote? For the vast majority of them, the answer is no. And a few others will vote me because of my statements here (I don't know why, but they'll find an interperetation).

So please, put me out of my misery. You'll relieve my headache, Flores the Lyncher will get to win, and you can all learn a lot by looking at today.

Because i think when ppl whine a lot about how awful everyone plays, feel overwhelmed and ask to being lynched im no one to oppose, plus i dislike whinning in general, one of the reasons why i prefer donate my utero to science that become a mother *giggles*

Second because i find very fishy that there could be 2 persons with the same role, and having a deadline, i could hate to see a no lynch, any of the librarians, historians or whatever could be fine for me, but dito is way more likely to get a majority of votes, i mean, the guy is begging for it.

Third i seriously doubt him could be a jester, if him is i say well done, kudos, i weirdly wanted see anyone lynched so badly as him, maybe with exception of MM in grimms *giggles* in this game him elevated a stuck up and annoying attitude to a form of art.

Fourth, i see the mod intervention about "if you mess with the mod, the mod will mess with thou" like encouragement, that's just how i am.

fifth, why not? seriously, give me a better lead.

Heh, that's funny Dito.

Look, I'm going to explain it one more time for you:

People jokingly bandwagoned the new guy (I 'm sure it's jokingly because I've seen it often enough). You defended him, and two, maybe three people jokingly transferred their vote to you. Now, your play up to this point was perfectly fine. But then you made a mistake.

Ditocoaf wrote::roll: I didn't have my role yet; you can't seriously be attaching a ulterior motive to that.

Besides, I wasn't defending that guy, read my words again. I was objecting to doing a random lynch. I've been anti-wasting the first day in every mafia I've played. But if the mob is already this unruly, go ahead and lynch the noob if you really think he's scum. I hope you all get lucky rolling the dice on this.

Ditocoaf wrote:a) You're taking it completely out of context.
b) I have only a few votes on me, in a very large game. It's not something to be concerned about.
c) That's exactly what everyone was saying, including yourself, just a page or two ago. I was simply saying, "I'm not going to try to stop you from what you were trying to do," because apparently a few of you consider dissent scummy. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Can you see how this might irritate people, and make them assume you have something to lose by dying (i.e. you're scum and can't afford to be killed say 1)? You weren't even close to a lynch, nor was the new guy and you got all snappy and defensive. And yes, there is a difference between defending yourself and being defensive.

Definitions of "defensive" from Dictionary.com:
1. a position or attitude of defense
2. excessively concerned with guarding against the real or imagined threat of criticism, injury to one's ego, or exposure of one's shortcomings.

Guess which one better describes your actions? Anyway, I'm tired of this constant holier-than-thou, self-righteous, pity-me attitude. I tried to defend you, but you made it impossible with the way you handled this. It's not difficult to not get lynched. Just don't overreact when a few people vote for you and they'll change their votes. When you bitch and bitch and bitch, then people want to get rid of you, whether it's the best option or not. And to address your last point, Dito, I don't have a whole lot of "good mafia skills" to judge you by. Somehow, you managed to turn a joke bandwagon on day 1 into a lynch of yourself.

@Flores, how about Exile, who also claimed the same role AFTER DITO, or ani, who tried to initiate a pointless bandwagon for a poor reason, or maybe TWO who joined in on said bandwagon without even giving his reason?

I couldnt have said it any better, truth to be told, i work with ppl who drown in self pity, in a false sense of self righteousness, and quite often adopts the typical holier than you "victim" attitude, then that is my job being a shrink, and i love my job and assit ppl to overcome this flaws of logic, but i play for get a break from it, therefor i get way more intolerant than irl when such behaviours appear, and persist in games, games should be fun, period. i dont want to be annoyed, selfish? most likely, still i stick to my guns

Exile have the huge plus of not being annoying, if dito results in being what he claimed to be, we can go after exile tomorrow, that is the beuty of a lynch, it always give you somewhere to start.

Ani, is just beign ani, you can blame him, is genetical.

and two, that might be very interesting to explore further, but with such a pressing deadline could be virtually impossible to put a well structured case against him in less than a day, i suggest anyone with investigative capacities to give a look at TWO.

The problem is that if both Exile and Dito are telling the truth, than we will have four dead townies over the next two days and no information gained from it.

I'm sorry. Everyone's right. I played a shitty game in this, and I'm ashamed that I took such a dumb, fool-on-the-hill attitude towards you all. I could blame it on not getting enough sleep lately, but none of us get enough sleep, I'm sure. I was wrong to throw such a fit. Partly, I was trying to get more upset than necessary, to force myself to quit (since I shouldn't be spending so much time online). I obviously failed at quitting, so I ended up making an ass of myself for nothing.

I agree with everything f1fth just said, exept for one minor detail I want to contest.
F1fth wrote:Can you see how this might irritate people, and make them assume you have something to lose by dying (i.e. you're scum and can't afford to be killed say 1)?

Who doesn't have something to lose by dying? That's the only part of all my stupid bitching that I still stand by. Wanting to live is not scummy, though people often say it is. Everyone has something to lose by dying, unless they're a jester.

That is true, but the scum have a lot more to lose by dying, hence tend to be a bit more desperate when pressure is applied.

But fortunately for you, I play not with my emotions, but my logic. I still don't like your lynch at this point and would rather wait until we have some investigation of yours and Exile's roles. However, if the deadline does come up and another lynch is not possible, I will vote for you.

Looks like there's no off position on the genius switch.

Now comes the apologizing and the excuses. Makes me think that he thoguht that we thought that he was scum and he thought to himself 'damn! I might get lynched, better tell them they are right and I am sorry.' Heehee.

But really, enough business talk, I leave you tonight with the Top Ten things you don't want to hear at the beach:
"You're going to have to put on a top - oh, sorry, sir"
"Forget about sharks, I thought I saw a tomato in the water"
"Due to the mortgage crisis, we're foreclosing your sandcastle" (could happen)
"We're out of mayo; use the Coppertone"
"Wow, that lifeguard can really put away the gin"
"The water? It's about eleven miles that way"
"I know you're not drowning, but would you like mouth-to-mouth anyway?"
"Giant squid! Run for your lives!"
"Are you here for the Al Qaeda summer picnic?"
"Now where did I bury Grandpa?"

Nah, I'm seriously apologizing. I had no right to act so bitchy and "holier-than-thou" to all of you. You're still wrong if you think I'm scum, but it's perfectly understandable considering how badly I screwed up this game...

Oi! Don't drag me into this. I'm just tired of day one dragging on for so damn long. I do believe I said something to that effect earlier. I pointed out that long day ones can lead to people getting bored with the game early on in it, on the basis of trying to preserve interest in the game, I pushed for lynching the guy with the most votes.

Upon reading this, most of you will shout "SCUM!" Be that as it may, I've already said it [and you've already made that shout at me] so I'm just reiterating for those who forgot or were to laxy to read over it.
