Whoa! Just a min. I don't have the final say.
I only run these stats to keep this thread alive.
If someone else wants to take this thread on and embelish it, then they're quite welcome to have ti and have the say as to how this tool is developed and what stats are shown.

Anway, latest stats will be available later today. :)

not fun at all. it's bloody tiny.
cairns mate, could you put a bigger image? i have to get to 10 inches of the display to understand what you wrote there.

on another note i can't help noticing some really weird movements.

for example last fortnight AoR1 had 4487 while now it got only 1719 and 2 fortnights ago it got 2065.

and it's not the first time i notice a weird spike in the graph.

sometimes a map really rises or really plummets all of a sudden and then it gets beck to normal. i wonder why...

Tournaments could have a meaningful impact on some spikes.

Try now DiM.

I'm no longer trolling through the game finder screen and getting these stats.
ChipV has written the compilation script Map Move, and it will be a couple of fortnights until i get a handle on this and it stablizers. That's the run for this fortnight, and i can't run it again until next time.
Be patient with me, you know thing don't always work out the way you want sometimes. ;)

thanks cairns. much better now.

i thought about tourneys myself but the spikes seem too damn big.

as i previously said the AoR1 map was around 2000 games/fortnight and then it jumped to 4000 and back down to ~2000

that's a whopping 2000 games difference in a period of 2 weeks. yes there have been some tourneys involving the AoR trilogy but 2000 games?
a tourney has a few dozen games not thousands.

Map Move is a dead simple calculation: Active games + Finished.

If the active games finish, there is no impact on the total.
There could also be waiting games that end up being played or simply dropped.
The overall totals look close enough to me.
The only problems I would have expected is if a new map is added to the game finder for which there will be a solution ready.

wow, CairnsWK, I didn't know you were still keeping these stats.
Definitely some big numbers on that list...
I like how its been sorted into the map type. Gives me one more section to think about.

Thanks for keeping these stats. It doesn't seem like a very rewarding task, at least.

Blitzaholic...these really haven't changed that much....they only show number of games started each fortnight, and have a few added categories to compare by. That's its. Still the same ones really. :)

How come the date is 28 Aug when it's still 27 Aug (even in your time zone Cairns!)? :)

Ah. maybe. I'm waiting on the Map Move tool to be fixed to do the counting...there is something changed about the map database and it ain't working so good anymore...so i am not trolling through all 102/3 maps one by one for these stats.

What does categorization .07 mean? I apologize if that's been asked and answered before, but I didn't want to read the whole thread to find out, and the site wouldn't let me search ".07" as that's not a long enough word.

As always, many thanks to Cairns for this information.
