Ya... i noticed this going on in the dutch forum. i kinda sorta understand the basic meaning of what y'all are saying, but i can't comment on it. at all. does a map in there justify me being able to use an internet translator? i can't restrain myself. can i please have permission? huh, onbekende? huh?

You wouldn't need to abbreviate so much if you mke the key smaller, and the map larger, plus you can reduce the font size if you change it to a different font (which it REALLY needs). Half of the image is the key and translation.

as far as gameplay:

i'd get rid of Freisland-Texel connection, maybe add in a few river boundaries as well.

Its a pity we in our Dutch Forum already are busy to make a Benelux map.
We agree that we take the map we were working on.
And no you are putting youre own map, without saying anything to the Dutch forum people. To bad, but underneed this message is the map we wanne to make:

(Jammer dat je over de rug vananderen al bezig ben met een Benelux map. Want we hadden in het Nederlands forum al over gehad en mee bezig geweest. Jammer hoor. Maar goed hieronder is ie van de Nederlandse Forum)

A few comments on the map:

-The border at the South of Limburg (lowest blue territory) isn't correct. The SE-part is part of Belgium.
-And do you plan the Voerstreek (small yellow part south of Limburg) to be a seperate territory or part of Belgium Limburg (most East yellow territory)?

Edit: I count only 28 territories. I think that's a bit less, when you play with 6 players you only start with 4 each. Maybe split some territories, so you end up with 30 total, which is a good number for both 3, 5 and 6 players. Only with 4 you would have 2 neutral ones. You could split Gelderland and make the Achterhoek a seperate territory. Also Noord Brabant could be split I think (I don't have good names for it but I think someone could find one). In this way also the big blue continent has some more territories and could get a higher bonus.

I thought it was the Map Foundry where you developed maps, not the dutch or belgium forum.

not if its a specific map a specific forum has already been working on. its not like you are completly thinking up that benelux should have its own map.
peeps were working on it. lets find some concensus first before all we produce gets shot down

It will be first passed by our design team, which is full of good graphic designers and people who know how to play this game.

Just wait for it, when this map reappears here, it will be quenched in 1 day

On this moment we have two benelux maps. Vote for the map that you like the best in the DUTCH forum.

I did already, before you said that. I use a translator to get the general idea of what you all are saying.

I hope that your translator did his work. We will place the map on this forem
if we (the dutch conquers) are satisfied with it. From that time the map can be discussed bye everyone, and in english.

Bye the way HappySadFun who is the girl on the second place of your photo, she lookes very sad.
