Strike, everything's pretty good...I've just been working a couple of jobs and having a good summer. How have you been?

It's been a long while since I got in any sort of fight - I usually try to avoid them, since someone always gets hurt and its not usually the other guy. I'm crap at fighting. I'm still trying to say "Let's not fight" as I'm heading for the floor.
These days I usually just threaten 'em with the Mrs. That usually works.

I've gotten about the same way. though not because I can't fight, it's because I can. I've lost a couple friends because of stupid fights and I don't want to get that way again.

Where I grew up, avoiding fights was sometimes hard. I became quite adept at it.
Typical Friday in the "Flying Bottle" (not its real name, but what everyone called my local):
Drunk wally staggers up to you and says
"Oi! You! Yer a ****!"
Now the correct response might be "NO, you are!", or for the seriously witty, "Takes one to know one!"
My response would be "Goodness, you ARE perceptive. Not many people get that straight away, it usually takes hours or days. Well done."
At this point, most of the time, the wally would retire to his mates mumbling. "called him a ****. Don't know what he said. Fink I'll go and call that bloke a ****."

I have a job. It's pretty good considering it's just part time. On average I get $300+ a week.
