Just saw the 'Which Movie is funnier' poll and decided to ask a more pressing question. Shaun of the Dead vs Hot Fuzz. Both big hits here in the UK. But what were they like overseas, just interested, thats all...........

I thought Hot Fuzz was alright, but I haven't seen Shaun of the Dead yet...

To answer you're first post, they were both hits here in the US.
Like a mainstream sleeper hit... hard to explain... everyone loved them...

Hot Fuzz was less of a hit.

I just saw it myself - seen Shaun of the Dead many times. I can't decide... but as much as I loved Hot Fuzz, I think I have to stick with Shaun of the Dead.

They are both perfectly great. I love it, especially in Hot Fuzz when he gets the whole spike thing. Old people FTW.

And Spaced is so goodddd.
