Seriously...do they keep changing their body armour during their rest periods? Being an ex Rugby player where we didn't bother with hiding behind bullet proof kevlar panels and took the body hits and broken bones, as they came, I have never quite worked it out.

Broken bones are bad for business, that about sums the reasoning behind the padding. Somehow, though, I doubt that people would take any more kindly to football with or without the uniforms.

Poor little americans can't realise that if you call something football you actually have to use your feet for the majority of the time, and they can't even play rugby so they hide behind a ton of armour.

Nope...but it is a start....players change with the wind, some seem to just jog onto the pitch to take a kick, then jog off again to wild applause. There seem to be more coaches than anyone else.

However, the cheerleaders are certainly a great diversion.

You should change the title to replace Football with soccer. Some people might think this is football and argue that Americans are the best not knowing were talking about soccer.
