I've been riding(off-road) for over thirty years myself. I ride an 86 YZ490 dinosaur. It's a brutal motor though. I took some hack trail riding with me a few weeks ago and he looped it out 50 feet from the truck, slid on his back(t-shirt) on the asphalt for about 25 and wrecked my bike. Bent the subframe, my renthal bars, sheared off a footpeg, folded the silencer in half, broke the rear fender, the throttle tube and the front brake lever. We looked on the map and found him an easy trail to ride about a quarter-mile away. He made it 50 feet

I need a new bike anyway.

I took up skydiving without a parachute as it seemed less dangerous.

 I knew it was gonna happen. I warned him of exactly what not to do but he thought it would be cool to chop the throttle on a 500 in second gear. I bet he's still peeling the jerky. Oh well, when I get a new one no-one will be riding it but me.

I'm torn between the YZ450f and the KTM300mxc. I like the new thumpers but I've had a long love affair with the two-stroke. I'm gonna settle on one or the other any time now.

Ahhh. The wide-ratio tranny YZ250. I rode one of those back in the day and loved it too :)

Oh yeah. My first bike(at age 5) was a Indian 30cc automatic. I've never even seen another one. I think I'd be rich if I still had it
