Reincarnation. Who here is?

Postby Thor Son of Olaf on Mon Aug 25, 2008 2:25 am

Come forth, all ye reborn and let us exchange tells of past lives. I, Thor Son of Olaf was born near what was later the town of Hedeby in Denmark at the time of the Migration Period. In later lives I fought with such men as Harold Haardrade and the Teutonic Knights, sailed with Leif Son of Erik the Red to Vinland and with the Hanseatic League. I fought the Turk under both Frederic Barbarossa and the Austrians. Later still, I lived in Strasburg, back with it was a German town in a German Province, and served under Frederic the Great of Prussia.

So, tell your tales, fellow wanderers.

It's not impossible that my body contains or has contained some particle of every human that ever lived. Beat that for reincarnation.

Hey Thor, why don't you get reincarnated as a member that plays a game once and a while instead of being a professional troll.

He can't. He'll probably be banned in the next couple of days.

That is the path this soul has taken. And I am proud to call myself a Prussian with mixed Norse-Teutonic heritage.

Dont You find it funny, that in general most people who believe in Past lives, always have an obsession with clairvoyants and fortune tellers.
Their typical questions are roughly like these ...

I think I am related to Cleopatra, because I love cats and Egypt
I Know I am a leader of people, a dynasty from aztec leaders..
I am an Alien species, who is basically superior than you..

Ok People lets get one thing straight, there are only so many slots for the "big People zone" in re-incarnation ok!

We need 97% of all you others to be dustbin men, Dishwashers and Crack Whores, just to big up the 3% over-inflated ideals.

Lets face it, who thinks they were an Ant in their previous life?
Who was a Murderer?
A Rapist?

Right!!

We all like to Think We were Elvis don't we?

Taking this at face value for the moment

I have a theory about this:
Point 1 There are more people now than there used to be.
Point 2 Those who think they're reincarnated usually think they were someone famous

Therefore there are far more people than there are famous souls to go round.
Therefore souls reproduce (probably by fission - haven't you heard the saying, "fission is good for the soul").
The souls of famous people reproduce more than those of grunts.
Therefore there can be lots of people who were Catherine the Great/ Napoleon/ Aleister Crowley in a past life.

Case solved.

You did consider that some souls fracture, after all do you need a whole soul to make a cricket or a slug, or a college student?
