I am not thrilled with a fair amount of his foreign policy, but I think as far as the experience does go, it at least temporarily makes the foreign policy issue a little harder to attack. If he went with someone who was closer to his stances (might be hard to do at times) it would leave a fairly wide open weakness whereas now i think Obama could be rather fairly viewed as the lesser of evils as far as foreign policy direction goes.
Good point. He has the experience to know how to do stuff, his ideas themselves are just strange. But then again he's the VP and Obama has plans of his own.
