I think that may have been the reason. Only "will of the people" ban ever put into place. Everything is else is some strange "protecting the community" ban, even though the community doesn't give a flying f*ck.

Odd really, that FW has been left to go to seed and be overrun by mindless spammers, but GD has been modded into an arid wasteland.

I realise that people are pretty good at wringing their hands and wailing about how hard it is to be a mod... but I don't think I'm being unreasonable when I say that a slightly more effective division of resources might have been possible over the last six months.
