3 Best American Presidents

Postby Frigidus on Tue Sep 02, 2008 10:23 am

Well, since we're doing prime ministers, why not the presidents. Here's my choices, starting from 3:

3. Grover Cleveland: I mean, he's the only guy so far to have separated terms. He must have done something right!

2. Ronald Reagan: Ronald Reagan won the Cold War, alone. Also, most people didn't notice this, but he was the second coming of Christ. This gets a solid #2.

1. George W. Bush: God bless George W. Bush, and God Bless America.

Your no 3 is also the only one to get a permanent part with the muppets.
Although how they've missed Bush is beyond belief.

3. Warren G. Harding: Because even if he truly was unaware of the Teapot Dome Affair, the corruption serves as an inspiration to all awesome presidents in the future, including our current President!

2. George W. Bush: Bankrupting the nation and starting a needless war aren't all this fine President has accomplished! There's so much more!

1. Franklin Pierce: "Hi, my name is Franklin Pierce. I'm an idiot who wants to divide the nation and subvert the union, because I want to start a civil war! I'm also a hopeless alcoholic who was only elected because I'm a puppet! Go me! Kansas-Nebraska Act, FTW!"

Honorable Mention: William Jennings Bryan, the greatest President the nation never had, yet a continuing inspiration to populist loons into the current day, from LaRouche to Nader!

You gotta have Roosevelt up there.... not talking about teddy, although he was good too.
I do it because I can

I can because I want to

I want to because you said I couldn't

3. John Adams. The man who couldn't pick a Cabinet and effectively added a third term to Washington without all the humble genius!

2. Ulysses S. Grant. The founder of corrupt government, his cronies took what they wanted and gave nothing back, all the while he smoked cigars and drank whiskey!

1. William Henry Harrison. Contracted pneumonia during his inaugural speech! Most effective 30 days of any president ever!

Honorable Mention: Alexander Hamilton. The man that could control Washington and worked to subvert the brand new Constitution! After all, it's just a piece of paper! Also, getting killed by ceremonial murder is always a plus!
The inflation rate in Zimbabwe just hit 4 million percent. Some people say it is only 165,000, but they are just being stupid. -Scott Adams, artist and writer of Dilbert
