looks quite good at first glance , a couple of points i might make,

not sure about the red continent being split up like that . edit- maybe a sea route from right side of board to left , as in kamchatka/alaska in classic to join them

maybe a few too many sea routes around the islands, cut them down maybe and reduce the bonus you had planned

the names of countries could be a little clearer

just my opinion tho

yeah i had not thought of the sea route round the board i think i will add that

panicker wrote:maybe a few too many sea routes around the islands, cut them down maybe and reduce the bonus you had planned

any thoughts on which sea routes to remove? (and i have no planned bonuses)

at the moment every continent can attack red and no countries on it are protected by others, i dont think ive seen that on a map . maybe making the two smaller islands just conected to the outer 2 adjacent to them might be a start otherwise holding it would be quite a job.

And possibly cutting one route off barentsoya(ithink thats what it says ) just so its not so threatened

Why Svalbard? I dont know anything that has happened there, should have done a place like Falkland Islands, people have killed for that.

The font... I don't know about you, but I think it doesn't complement the rest of the map.

I agree. Dont you have a more significant area to do a map, mate? Many areas we could have more interest, like whole Asia, Russia, Pacific, etc... It looks very strange until now, all those lines connecting N and S, W and E... some areas have many borders, well... its far for being completed, so maybe you could think about another idea. :)

Falkland Islands would be better if you want to do islands.

Name the green territory without a name.

There appears to be an un-named country in the green continent to the right of Hansoya and one in the dark blue cont above Footoya.

Although I've never heard of the place it does look interesting. :) 8) I'm not sure about the extra bonus for all the blue areas - I think that would mean that the person who got it would win the game too easily... :-k

I like the map. Svalbard is such an awesome place. Population is low as hell though.
