Yeah, pretty much all sports are of no interest to me - in the Uk I had to sit through endless conversations about Football/soccer, cricket, rugby, wimbledon, whatever. Here there's little buzz about criket or rugby thank god, but now I also have to wait out conversations about football (the other sort), ice hockey, baseball, basketall and ocasionally lacrosse.

I used to have one close friend who was a sports fanatic, and would follow Sumo, kabadi, and probably pro-celbrity armwrestling...

This last weekend our block party was moved from Saturday to Sunday by the edges of Tropical Storm Hannah. Not so much fun as everyone had to get up for work or school, so it all ground to a halt much earlier than the previous ones.

Still at lest Hannah didn't bring her boyfriends Gustav and Ivan with her.

I've never been much of a lacrosse or hockey fan and while I enjoy playing soccer I've always gotten bored trying to watch it. I'm kind of glad that you don't like soccer either as I am getting tired of all the Football (real) is better than American football and vice versa.

that's too bad. for a while we were worried that Hannah might come up here but we didn't even get any rain from it in the end.

I've watched a couple episodes but that's about it. Usually I have something better to do around the time it comes on.

It's not just that. i kind of feel guilty because I could have contributed more to the show and maybe help it stay on the air a bit longer. I know this feeling is just naive as one person couldn't make that much of a difference but it really is bugging me.

How the hell can you get that feeling? It's got a cult following, I don't think you should worry too much.

I do want to know them but by the time I do get to studying I already know those things.
