Get Firefox and turn on spell check. Capitalize your e's in English, everyone, really (I'll let that those two slide...), a lot, about, interest and hopefully. Sorry, just figured I'd point those out to ya... You did do pretty well though.

..and in case it's your typing that's at fault, not your grammar, spelling, etc - try a typing course of some sort - there's plenty of free ones available.

The most useful education I ever received turned out to be the 12-hour touch typing course (on a completely blank keyboard) I got by mistake when I first left school.

You and I actually have a lot in common, just that I have a tendency to be anal about spelling and grammar. 19, a History buff and major, 2nd year in college, and hope to pass my English class (though, not a morning person, that's my problem).

No, he just needs some practise... When I was in grade 6 I didn't know how to type (well, I knew how, but I didn't do it well in any sense of the word). I started playing some games over the internet, and to type with the whole "point and push" thing was no good as it took forever. So, I sat there and went through the "Quick Ask Zoey" ect. when ever I wanted to type something, and, after a while, I got better and better at it. Now I'm pretty quick. I never look at the keyboard for anything, except for perhaps some of the more obscure keys, like Insert or the F1-12 stuff... Practise makes perfect mate.

Same here. As for History, mainly Military History (slightly more in the Ancients, but more Modern warfare does as well).

This forum isn't an English class, but we do demand a certain level of spelling and grammar. All we have to base you on is what you type. If you type without proper spelling and grammar (or none at all) you sound like a stupid and arrogant little kid. And nobody likes those. And there's a reason that they teach you all that stupid "Use periods and comma's" bullshit and English class; it makes you easier to read and understand.

Yeah, I would never bother even logging onto the computer unless I really needed to if it wasn't for my computer aps class in 8th grade. It literally helped me go from 25 wpms to about 55 wpms and I've gotten faster since then.

...but I was asked for a story from Celtic mythology and haven't delivered.

I'll give my opinions on where to go to read more in a later post.

This is a part of the story of the guy I call Lord Watchout ("Pwyll" in Welsh). The events take place not too far from where my Mam and Tad live today.

EPOSODE 1

Watchout was told of a hill in Arberth upon which, if you sat upon it, something interesting would happen. It might be very bad (you'd end up badly beaten) or it might be the most interesting thing that'd ever happened to you.

"I'll take my chances!" he said, and mounted the hill.

He'd not sat there long when a really hot lady rode past on a horse. Right away he was totally enamoured. He told one of his men to chase after her, find out who she was, where she was from, what she was doing on Friday night, and what her email address was.

The guy runs after her. But no matter how fast he runs, the lady gets further and further away, without appearing to hurry.

Eventually, Watchout's man has to give up, go back, and report failure.

Have to disagree with you there. WWII while not as interesting as the Civil War and the American Revolution was kickass. And Abraham Lincoln was the best president.
