Is there a connection?

Recently, I noticed that at least 2 members of the CC staff are sporting avvys and sigs that are pro McCain. One of them happens to be one of the most disliked moderators on this forum. The general population of this forum, I have also noticed, tends to lean towards Obama.

Coincidence? State of mind? Political prejudice? What is going on here?

Most disliked moderator? Twill, right? It's gotta be Twill - isn't he Canadian? Oh well, i guess it doesn't matter in his case - he would love any overly authoritative figure.

Who are the mods/ folks in charge ... business/tech educated folks, more likely to be conservative and to favor McCain.

Who are the majority of CC? Actually we are a pretty diverse bunch, but those in the forums specifically tend to be younger folks ... more likely Obama supporters.

How does being conservative equate to supporting the Republican party nominees? Seems like you're suggesting one ideology defaults into another choice.

Well, Obama buys into the "tax and spend" philosophy, which is a deal-killer for conservatives - oh wait...
