Do we play one game or will they have to defeat us twice?

If you win then your opponent would have been defeated twice and thus you would win the tournament. However, if the other team wins, then there would be one more game to decide the winner.

I hope this answers your query.

I understand the logic of your saying LOW would have to lose twice in the finals, as this is a double elimination tournament, but the way you have arranged it, it seems strange that one team has to win 9 games to win the tournament, while LOW only has to win 5, even if they also end up with a loss. i vote for the team with the most wins at the end of the tournament wins the tournament, assuming every team has at least one loss.....

I see your point, however, I'm simply following the standard "double elimination bracket" standard. In double elimination, when you move to the losers bracket, you are forced to play more. I thought it was strange, too, but all brackets I've found are constructed this way for double elimination. I hope this explains my reasoning for the last post.

how many games you play is a function of when you lose your first. If you lost in round 4 instead of round 2, you would only have to play 6 games. Not all teams have to win 9 games. I believe in this tournament, a team can win by playing anywhere between 5 to 10 games.
