Agreed. "Many times" doesn't even begin to describe it. These days we keep them all in the same thread ...
The successful farmers only play noobs right off the bus, and their first game. And oh, it has to be FS. Try again. I am sure that you will be able to steal some points. You will also be lowering your map rank. For an experiment I tried 1 game of this description. I don't even know how to play FS, but I slaughtered him.FabledIntegral wrote:I decided to try farming as of late, just to see if I could do it, and I failed miserably. The reason? Dice. Holy goddamn f*ck. I went something along the lines of 14 v 2 being reduced to 3v1. Etc. I lost vs people who within the first 2 turns attacked neutrals more than they attacked me, and won. Another game someone took an area similar to oceania where I had THREE territories and he had ONE and he captured all 3 to gain the 2 bonus... and he had a neutral barrier so I couldn't break it. He conquered 9 armies over 3 spaces with friggin' 7. I responded by having 12 v 3 win with me advancing 3. I lost 2/3 games where the players were absolutely HORRID. Terrible terrible strategies. Dice completely shafted me.

Which isn't even one tenth of the amount of possible outcomes...
RADAGA wrote:And why havent I seen, so far, ONE SINGLE guy showing a dice sample that largely favors attacks?
If there is a greater probability for attacks to succeed and not fail, the abnormalities should be also more abundant.
I am yet to see one sample of over 500 dice showing 20% or more extra successes.
Come out, come out, wherever you are....
The Neon Peon wrote:okay, RADAGA... why don't you do this...
1. Make a build on city mogul and then write down a string of 100 numbers of the dice.
2. Find a pattern. (since that is the only way the odds can be tilted)
3. Find another site with random numbers or make your own
4. Prove that there is no pattern in that thread of dice
Okay, you complain that the dice are uneven... how? How is it possible that this is not just luck? You have horrible karma... do something about it for once, or prove to us that we are using a crappy random number generator.

CC uses 500,000 random numbers to generate it's dice. So, although the odds are horrible, it is probably that if you keep trying that it will happen eventually.
P.S. How would someone rig the dice? Impossible to do that. the same line of code can produce all victories or all defeats depending on which attacks you choose to make with it.
