That seems like a bit deeper search than you see in most games. If stroop turns out not to be cult you are the first person I'm voting for. I wasn't sure about stroop at all mostly because I saw his no lynch vote as him just kidding around. He has since gotten more serious with the game. Is there really anything other than the no lynch vote? I haven't really seen anything.

farside22 wrote:I really don't get this:

I can kill someone from the target clan. If I try and kill someone not from the target clan, I die.

Why would this be part of someone's role. You can target someone to kill but if successful you die too? Why on earth would anyone kill a player then?
I just had to ask.
Lets see those who hopped on the BW. derf always stands out. Probably because of another game I saw him in. Ace is pretty much on my list of those who I wonder if he will scum hunt list.
Lots of quick unvotes and people just out and out believing the claim without asking more question. Stroop and pmc stand out on this.
So

vote: Stroop

Farside how could you not understand it? It's basically a vig but he has to be very careful with who he picks. He targets the right clan he gets the kill off and continues on his merry way. He picks wrong and he gets the kill (from my understanding) but he dies in the process.

Well, he hasn't posted at all today. If he found someone to be guilty I am should he would say so when/if he posts. He he found the person to be innocent of being that particular cult he should probably not say who he investigated, just that he found nothing.

ace1217 wrote:Mpjh, you may as well claim what cult you search for.
No. For one of the cult killers to truthfully tell what color he is makes him vulnerable to recruitment by the other two cults. This is why you should not have said your color.(assuming you told the truth about it) Now they red cult could go after kagetora, and the other two cults could go after you.

Well if you are sure, vote stroop. Regardless of how this lynch turns out we need to be extremely mindful of mpjh possibly being cult in the future.

No, according to my PM if I understood it correctly I can't be recruited at all.

Sounds like a Flavour Cop type of role, more general/wider search area but shallower answer.

That I fully agree on.

Would be lovely, but wouldn't that also mean that the cult need to have a killing role to be able to win the game?

No, generally if cults get majority they win, since they can no longer be lynched and they control the vote. They don't have to recruit everyone.

Because I'm not cult...

It does not make sense that mpjh would be able to search for cultists in general. Everything in this game has come in triples so far. 21 players, 3 cult leaders, 9 vanilla townies, 9 power roles of which 3 are investigative roles each for one cult... and 1 flavour cop?

Right... I see where this is going. Claim time:

I am a psychologist. I know the doctrines of a certain cult (not revealing colour). Each night, I can host a "session" with 3 other players. These 3 players are protected from indoctrination (recruitment) by that certain cult.

If another cult recruits one of the 3 players, I will know that this has happened, but not to who and who tried to recruit.

Last night, I protected the following three:
- kagetora, I believe his claim and I wanted to be more sure that he'd still be a townie today (yes, I know it was unlikely cult would have dared to recruit him)
- mpjh, quite possibly a cult leader, but also quite possibly a power role.
- Thezzaruz, because I got a town vibe from him...

The 2 other cults did not try to recruit any of them.

If mpjh really found cult stuff on me, as he claims, it might be because I "studied" the doctrines of a cult. My role PM didn't say anything specific about this.

Ok, so there is likely two more psychologists and one more investigator, and two special power roles.

I suspect that the cults may eventually gain killing powers. They obviously don't have them last night though.

Stroop and mpjh's claims are both kind of wierd. I am not sure I fully believe either of them.

One thing I have a question about is how come mpjh had information and was at first not leaving it while he continually told everyone else to reveal there info. Which ace did even thought he had no info...

I think this clears up mpjh's behaviour:

mpjh wrote:Not so. We all learned from space that credibility is crucial. I am sure that if someone knows something they will at least express it through their vote; hopefully they can find a way to say more in a convincing and credible way.

He tried this way but couldn't so instead revealed himself.

Personally im not convinced of stroop's explanation. Stroop had to claim something along these lines in order to clear himself although is role is pretty dam good if he made it up lol.

I think I will reread before deciding whether to unvote.

Three is incorrect, if red attempts to recruit me it just fails. And I can kill players, but if they aren't red cult or town I die.
