Stoke, not sure about this one looking at their remaining fixtures. got some very good home games left and are fairly strong at home.

anyway 4 English teams in the quarters. 2 of them will have to meet, be surprised if none of them met.

City tonight, should be a tight game. a better team than Copenhagen i think. hopefully we can pull through with a 2-0 win to set us up for the 2nd leg.

Man City 2 Aalborg 0 :D

Caicedo, Wright-Phillips.

could of been a lot better. nice work until the final pass most of the time. that final pass being inches away from perfect. i really do beleive that was a penalty for Robinho after his 6 stepovers. i think i would of settled for 2-0 at the start of the game. the clean sheet gives us a great chance. they were unbeaten in their last 16 games. one them games was against Manure(reserves).

Let shope thats sung several times today. Its the first Old frim cup final in like 10 years, and Im nervous as hell. We haven't had much luck in the League cup over the years lets hope that changes today.

Its gonna be a good competitive match and I just can't pick a winner atm. Im glad Boyd will be sitting on the bench I still think he is Rangers biggest threat.

sam, i think your 4th place is safe now. Villa are struggling and you have some of your injured back.

what a terrible sporting weekend i've had. first off Salford lost to St. Helens(no surprise there), then Scotland lost to the Paddy's.

Chelsea 1 Man City 0 shit away from home once again. :(

Rangers 0 Celtic 0 AET 0-2 :(

fairly shit game and the first domestic final Rangers have lost in their last 10 or so.

anyway City have 5 home games left in the league. Sunderland, Fulham, West Brom, Blackburn and Bolton. all of these we should win with our home record.

I've heard a lot of Rnagers fans talking about how it was a poor game, but after the first half I think it was very good game. It does of course make the game feel worse if you lose though.

DAZ will be happy(ish) after city scraped through on penalties despite being awful all game. Good comeback from the jammiest team ever but in the end there luck ran out.

Aalborg 2 Man City 0 (agg 2-2) City win 4-3 on Pens. :D

arse twitching time with the pens and extra-time. thought we passed it about well in the first half, but after the break our away day form came back to haunt us. :(

Hamburg next and then maybe Werder Bremen. that would be 3 Danish teams and 3 German teams(Schalke 04 was only away, 2-0 for us). this must be an omen. my 2 teams in the UEFA Cup Final 2 years running. hoping if City get there the result will be better than Rangers result.

Sad news..........Stockport were hammered 4-0 by Northampton. We wernt particularly out played, just gifted them 3 goals. Oh well cant complain, its still been a good season on the pitch. Not so good off it though.

Well what a weekend. Man Ure and Chelski both losing, and Liverpool not scoring 4 but 5 goals. Dont know whats come over them. HAHAHAHA

Rangers 2 Hearts 2 :(

needed a win with Sellick only drawing aswell.

Man City 1 Sunderland 0

Richards.

Robinho missed a penalty and it was all one way traffic with Sunderland down to 10 men. should and could of been a lot more.

i've never felt more like singing the blues,
City win United lose.
oh City, you got me singing the blues.

no offence Sam, but that bbc preditor looks pretty shite to me. you've got a snow ball in hells chance that Pompey are finishing in the top 10. Stoke will not get relegated. they have a few good home games left and with their home form they should be safe. i don't know how it predicted 'Boro will survive, even cena doesn't beleive this. :D where did it predict West Ham would finish? :?

anyway City have annouced that for the 2nd leg of the quarter final against Hamburg it's 5 quid for adults and 1 quid for under 16's. they go on sale tomorrow morning(pay day :D ) for 5 days at that price. can't go wrong with that price. =D> =D>

i dont quite know either, but i do know i typo'ed, boro were in stokes place. Also west ham were 11th cos i think they will struggle for goals. And howportsmouth finished so high i dont know! however in the end 9th to 14 were seperated by about 2pts. Shocking prediction tho!

I heard that Man U's drop in form has been caused by the players receiving their revised pay structure in the light of the AIG losses.
