I agree with WHH on his firm stance that Feb. 9th was his birthday. I agree because it is my birthday too. So that makes him great, right?

God, it's really hard to talk to you isn't it.

You say he's great because you agree with him. I agree with WHH on his birthdate. So he's deservéd of #13? Greatness isn't a wholly opinionated matter, unless you're John Wilkes Booth.

Well, I've not voted cos I don't have an immediately obvious answer myself.
Nobody mentioned Woodrow Wilson yet though? Does he really have no respect in his own country?

I originally had Wilson in the poll. Then I removed him to make way for William Henry Harrison, because let's face it, Harrison is clearly superior.

1. Lincoln
2. FDR
3. Washington
4. Teddy
5. Jefferson
6. JFK
7. Polk
8. Reagan
9. Truman
10. Eisenhower
11. Jackson
12. Harrison (wtf?)

I put Polk that high not for what he thought nor how he did it, but for what he accomplished.

P.S. omg JJM, the whole Harrison thing is a sarcastic joke!!!!!!!!!!

i don't think he's a person. No one lives in North Dakota. He must be a skunk or something. His presidential list would agree with that theory as well…

;)

Polk may have grabbed a lot of land, but that's seen as a bad thing in most cases.

Like Tibet? Checkoslovakia? Poland? Kuwait?

I am not Indian. At least I do not think of it that way. My grandmother is 1/8 Indian, my mother is 1/16 and I am 1/32 but not enogh that it is worth noting. I don't like Jackson because you got to hate someone who breaks a peomise and I admire Coolidge because Indians deserve to have Citizenship to. If someone asked about my ancestory I would probably not mention the Indian part. Its not even worth noting. I am one of those who can't understand why Indians have their own reservations.
