CC was already added on http://www.mpogd.com and http://www.mpogr.com so thats a total of 6 sites where you can vote for Conquer Club. Show your heart and get in a couple of votes :)
I guess voting on http://www.mpogd.com can be done again next month, as we last won it in september 2007!

Anyway the 2 sites i was waiting for arent activated yet, so well have to wait some more. In the meanwhile, lets vote on those that are possible, im sure we (as a community) can do alot better!

A new month! Time to vote our favourite game to the top!
And as a bonus, we can easily appear near the top of the lists right now since not many votes are in yet. Its a good time to be in the spotlights!

Links to voting sites in the first post.

Right, I have now edited the first post to show the voting links, 5 in total.
Recently one of those was newly added, so its now up for voting as well.

Show your support to CC and vote daily, if you want!

Seems like apexwebgaming has changed owners, and the new owner seems very ambitious.

On a more important note, it seems the voting totals over there are back down to zero, so any vote for CC right now, is one vote closer to the top! Why not resurrect this initiative, and start voting for CC again on these websites.

Vote now!

wouldn't it be better if we picked just one to try and vote for and win for a certain month? if you threw a sticky up in announcements, the GD, off topics, etc... i bet we could easily crush any other site. people are proud to be members of CC and what else do we have to do inbetween turns?-0

I too, voted for all of them. I think votes can be cast daily on each site, but perhaps the last one is weekly, im not sure actually.

I do think we have the most chance of topping the charts on apexweb... we're first, but only with around 10 votes! Get voting guys!

I voted.

This one (http://games.plit.dk/cgi-bin/games.pl?_ ... GameId=514) made me notice that someone has been smart about using their referral link. Has it started paying off yet?

In fact I believe every voting site carries a referral link from someone. I still included every site i found so far, why not let soemone have a little personal gain if its for the good cause. Hell, i even think one of those links has my referral

Anyhow, keep on voting guys. The more new players, the better for the community and game!

I wasn't trying to imply that I thought it shouldn't be done that way. Just that I hadn't considered it before, and thought it was quite clever. There's no need to get defensive.

So, has it started paying off yet?

again, getting everyone to concentrate on ONE of these many sites just seems like it is a much better idea and a better way to consolidate our vote... even TWO is a better idea. i haven't voted, because i don't want to waste my time knowing the vote can be spread out across the multiple sites. again, just a suggestion...-0

Well, to me it actually looked obvious :) Oh and i wasnt being defensive ;)
I think getting the mpogd site as a referral will pay off quite well, but having smaller voting sites doesnt gain alot. I for one have gotten a total of 1 guy who bought premium, and im not even sure its from a voting site.

I kind of agree, but which one do we focus on? An announcements, links all over the site, offer incentives.. that may make the idea work. But for now, i'm trying to gather as much votes as possible, it may be a small drop in the ocean, but it doesnt take alot of effort anyway, and there is room for improvement too.

perhaps you pick since you started the site? and are you not reading your own thread? several suggestions were made, and i don't believe it requires an incentive to get people out to vote... since you missed my post, here is my idea. however, andy's seems to have the most bite and it follows mine:

i would ask andy for an update, since you started this. and you may want to figure out which one is the best or most prestigious or will give CC the most visibility... great effort, we just need to pinpoint it and fine tune your idea like a "freakin' lazer beam", and we can win. i remember an effort a few months ago, and i think we got beat out on the final few days...

Of course I have read the thread, and I actually do agree with you to some extent. However, im unsure we will win if we dont offer incentives. Perhaps a high percentage of premium members and veterans will vote, but offering a couple of free speed games could potentially bring in a whole lot of freemium votes who wouldn't have cared to vote otherwise.

As for the best site to concentrate on... I think that would be MPOGD. It's one of the more known game databases out there, and therefore i think its the best choice as to attract new players. Voting for MPOGD can be done daily, and at the end of the month, votes get reset. The winner can't be voted on for a whole year. Or at least that used to be the case.

So, for the other months (why would we stop if we win on MPOGD?) i'd suggest voting on apexwebgaming. I say this because it seems its a daily vote. Everyday the vote counts gets reset, and there is a chance to be at the top on alot of different days. Also, the other games don't get a high number of votes, so without too much effort, we should already rank #1 daily! Hell, we could even do both MPOGD and apex at the same time.

Getting lack and the admins to back this idea up, would be a nice step in the right direction!

you'd be better off tweeting about CC rather than ranking it up on outdated ineffective systems.
