I am aware of your strange beliefs. They are not facts, and there is absolutely no evidence to support them.

Except for the copious amounts of research that dolphins actually do speak to each other.

There is none.

there is a ton. you are just too stupid to realize it for the sake of your wasted argument.

That's not a surprise, as it is utter and complete garbage.

I already answered this... again, you are just too stupid to realize it, or your memory is as sharp as your knowledge of dolphin research.

I wouldn't say that. I think that it is pretty clear that Whales and Dolphins have a language. The same thing could be said of birds. There may also be some sort of 6th sense speech method that we aren't aware of.

The whole point of this discussion is that the human ability to speak is a learned behavior. And in as such, evolution could not have happened.

Ah, this appears to be the crux of the argument. So you do not think speech could have developed naturally, but has to be taught. So here's what we have:
-A massive number of animals have the ability for basic communication: often danger warnings, an encounter with pray or mating calls.
-Chimpanzees (and other apes) appear to have different sound warnings depending on the threat, for example: an encounter with a snake will cause the chimp to give one warning while an encounter with a rival pack of the same species will produce another and a larger predator such as a big cat will produce a third.
-I believe current thinking has it that whales have different sounds to distinguish between each other
-Apes have complex body language, especially with regards to leadership
-Humans have languages which are more complex and can rely entirely on voice with no body language

I don't think its unreasonable to think that, as intelligence and experience increased, language could have developed over the 400,000 years since our species evolved and the 6 million years before that since our branch diverged from that of modern apes.

Whether you "think" it or not is irrelevant. There is no evidence that mankind's intelligence has increased, historically. All evidence clearly shows just the opposite -- that mankind's intelligence is on the decrease as time passes, and the degradation of all language sets, across the board, is but one example of this hard fact.

There is no evidence that any species "evolved" from another. On the contrary, each member of each respective species has always, and will always, give birth to members of its own species, exclusively. There is not a single example in the history of the world of one species producing a member of another species.

There is no evidence that "our branch" diverged from that of modern apes. There is no example of any common ancestor of both modern man and modern apes ("missing link") and such a thing would be necessary to prove your silly theory. It is well-known in every country in the world that no such "missing link" has ever existed, and there has certainly never been any example of any such thing giving birth to both humans and apes. Your entire post is pure nonsense.

To morph: Quiet, grown-ups are having a discussion.

Like I said he dodges, and swerves.... and wont come to a straight answer on this, even when given links on where they have done studies and shown that they do have something, and he cannot seem to explain it away...

You posted something, calling it garbage when there is facts that show there is a sixth sense of some sort, just because it is not relevant to the convo you were carrying on with someone else does not mean it is irrelevant. In a thread where one side is trying disprove the other any comment made, where you disregard a fact, or something that has a bit of proof behind it by calling it garbage. Well then you have a duty to sit there and offer your proof on why it is garbage... be it from a old ancient book or any other means, but something that is widely regarded as fact, not some prejudice that you may have on the subject.

I will draw on Jay to make this statement true, in the start of this thread that he started he had many people asking him questions, and challenging many many things he said and he answered as best he could to all and any that he saw. If you are not willing to look at what everyone says about a subject that you are involved in then get out of a thread that is full of debates.

Why do you bother with it, captain? The guy just goes back and forth between shoving his pinhead up his ass and shoving his pinhead into his little dick hole. You'll get no clear answer from him because his mouth is constantly filled with his own excrement.

All evidence clearly shows just the opposite -- that mankind's intelligence is on the decrease as time passes, and the degradation of all language sets, across the board, is but one example of this hard fact.

In prehistory It's always a little hard but brain to body size is a reasonable indicator and it has increased. Also good evidence is in the complexity of shaped tools (Talking flint more than powertools but the ability to make this kind of progress is also evidence of an increase in intelligence) Other indicators are such as the introduction of art (which I have seen first hand and its amazing btw) and ceremonial burial (an interesting fact is that Neanderthals also had this which is evidence that they may have had religion themselves). As for degridation in language, I and others have made several posts on the topic and your position on this is arguable at best. Besides, evolution is rarely so fast as to have noticeable effects over a mere thousand years.

There is no evidence that any species "evolved" from another. On the contrary, each member of each respective species has always, and will always, give birth to members of its own species, exclusively. There is not a single example in the history of the world of one species producing a member of another species.

This is, I feel, rather misinformed. Species is a definition, so that it can be marked where one species ends and another begins, but evolution doesn't work like this: a fish won't give birth to a shark, but it may give birth to a fish with slightly larger teeth. Evolution is far too slow a process for any species to entirely develop within recorded history (though such as dogs are coming close to being so through the speeded up process of artificial selection and breeding). But fossil record does show, rather clearly in places if incomplete in others, species developing until it is declared that they are no longer the same species (though again, with no living specimen, it is hard to define where the line should be drawn)

There is no evidence that "our branch" diverged from that of modern apes. There is no example of any common ancestor of both modern man and modern apes ("missing link") and such a thing would be necessary to prove your silly theory. I do. And any Sociologist will too. Speech is a learned behavior. Therefore in order for a person to speak German, they must be taught to speak it. Put a newborn in a room, isolated from any human contact, just giving it necessities (food, water etc.) and that person will grow up and not be able to speak. Why is this you say? Because speech is a LEARNED behavior. So, if we have 20 million apes walking around striving to take the plunge into a higher class of life they would need someone who can speak to teach them how to speak. This is evidenced by the fact that over all these years of "evolution" there is no other animal on Earth who has "evolved" speech.

I don't find it unreasonable to believe God gave us the ability to speak when He created man. ;)

Hmm, interesting but I wasn't quite saying speech came out of nowhere. I was saying that the more simple communication shown in apes can develop as time goes on. Take the example of the monkeys I mentioned earlier: in essence, the monkeys could be said to know three words, "Danger, snake", "Danger, rivals", "Danger Lion" among the other situation-distinctive calls they have. Now what I am suggesting is that as the species over the next few million years encounters new situations and develops increased brain power, new calls could be added to the list and be developed to be more specific and useful.

A more accurate situation to the empty room scenario I think would be those few cases of children who have been raised by wolves or other similar pack animals(believe it or not, it has happened outside Rudyard Kipling): In this case they learn the calls of their adoptive species but also have the spare brain capacity which would give them the potential to add new words to this system were it that the wolves also had capacity to develop.

we are able to speak because we have vocal cords. Other animals do not have vocal cords and thus cannot SPEAK. This doesn't mean they don't communicate. Many apes have been taught sign language and can interact and "talk" with their trainers.

Speech is only one form of communication. One needs vocal cords to speak, but not to communicate.

Lame, failed attempts at belittling me, mindless repetition of hackneyed, unsupported darwinist phrases, references to your bizarre belief that your family is descended from monkeys, and all the other assorted crap you people are trying to pull, do not change the fact that ALL reproduction on this planet is conducted from one member of a certain species to another member of the very same species, without a single exception. It always has been that way, it is that way today, and it always will be. No species has ever shared ancestors with any other species, and no species has ever shared descendants with another species -- each line is contiguous, discrete, and unbranched.

It also doesn't change the fact that the human brain is degrading, not improving with time, proof of which I have posted, above.

These two facts alone are enough to completely obliterate the slightest possibility of darwinist evolution.

Now, those of you too stupid to apprehend these simple facts, feel free to continue with your "scissor logic."
