The statement itself says nothing of its opinion on the OT texts, but the unnecessary juxtaposition makes it clear. The information given by the source states that the OT says these things are evil. Today, we know that these things will not get you struck by a bolt of divine lightning, to say the least, and as such they are not unusual in today's society. However, the mundaneness of these things now juxtaposed to homosexuality belittles the issue. If it really were that minor, we wouldn't be having this discussion. It's also trying to make the OT look ridiculous by simply stating that it says something so common is "an abomination". Unless of course, I missed something here like I did before.
