How long will it be before people start claiming "Random Map isn't really random".

I got the Civil War map on my first Randomness stab into the dark. I wonder what I will get next...

I did it and happened to get one the map I've never played WWII Europe because I find it too big.

I got Age of Merchants. I had never played it before and liked it, so yay for random.

I still have the random button too.

Lol first 3 were blanks that had to be deleted (Nice start eh? )

then i had Dust Bowl ,South America,WWII Australia and Germany!

Both maps are bottom feeders if you ask me.... Has anybody got anything good?

tried it twice, got 2 maps yo don't like out of 134 possible maps. Yes, you are absolutely correct, this must be proof of bias!

Hay, juice trucks is a great map. Now if I had tried that button and got USA, then I would be pissed. (I haven't tried it yet)

people that dislike the majority of the maps shouldnt use the random map feature, lol...

i play ALL the maps, so im kinda digging it, lol. ive got conquer 4, pelopenesia, greater china, europa... and a few that broke and had to be deleted, early on....

I play alot of random maps lately and have gotten mostly maps I normally wouldn't play but have yet to get one I have not played.Also you cannot even tell how many random map games you have played which sucks.I think it would tell alot about a players Map Awareness,how they can cope on Random maps on a large scale and over time.

I got Doodle, Treasures of the Galapagos, AOR2, Castle Lands, Siege, Senate, Sydney Metro, San Francisco, CCU, Great Lakes, Italy
.. and a few others I am just forgetting.

I would say it is pretty random. However, random does mean ANY map .. not just your favorites. So, if you don't like playing a lot of different maps, then it is not a feature for you.

I, of course, play EVERY map.

every time i have played random, i have played on a map i rarely play, extremely dislike or in the last case, HAVE NEVER SEEN!! ottoman empire? really? i've never seen the damn map! why don't any of the regular/popular maps pop up when you select random? i don't believe it is random... bruce is onto something...-0
