Wow, Red! That was a nice move! I could use a few rounds like that

Nope, the warning was something like, "since too many new recruits are attracted join this setting, you must stop opening games on these settings or be considered farming."
The guy opened a ton of public games on his favorite map and settings, then played whoever joined... no special "invites" given.
At least, no one claims to have received any invites, admin isn't saying they found evidence of invites, the guy who was warned denies sending invites, and there's no evidence he dropped games when higher ranks joined. But, he was warned to stop opening that type of game since lots of new recruits (not just new recruits, but lots) like to play 5-player esc games....
I think the guy joined a couple months ago, so they're calling him a "veteran." Still, since many non nr's as well as nr's are advised to play 5 to 8 player esc games, and "Classic" is still a favorite map for many old and new players, I find that it's no surprise that many join the setting; and there's nothing in place to let anyone auto-ban people below a certain rank or drop a game after it fills but before a player's turn if there's too many nr's or lower ranks in it.

Nope; "cleared" is throwing it out of court. "Noted" with a comment that he must change his style of games or be considered farming ... well, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, .... it means that in some form, admin considers primarily playing that style of game to be farming.hwhrhett wrote:p.s.s. i thought you left after you pitched a big fit and got them to give your premium away to someone else....
Actually, I left when I'd tired of unwarranted harassment here, especially after a fucking dweeb flamed by calling me a fucking retard and admin chose to ignore the complaint; despite "retard" having associations that are illegal under the "Americans with Disabilities Act;" associations that make the term "retard" a form of bigotry and harassment which is illegal under that act. That makes such words even more a harassment than terms associated with sexual preference that, for some reason, admin cares more about.
Admin did one thing right; per my request, they used my pre-purchased but not-used year as prizes for the tournament I'd successfully run before I departed.
However, that's off-topic.
The point is, the "help" being suggested here is a form of play that, per admin, COULD be considered farming if the person creates the games being suggested, which apparently attract new recruits - even if the person isn't that long on the site. The occurence will at least be "noted" which is not the same as "cleared and tossed out," and if occurrences repeat, discipline escalates; although now that it has been noted as potential farming, admin could choose to make the first offense by future players, "warnings". Thus, my caution about the suggestion being made here, is warranted.

your just twisting the truth... noted means there was no proof either way, because you cant prove innocence on alot of things.. noted means nothing.... dont give out bad information to people, and stop hijacking this thread to turn it into something it is not...

im just calling it like i see it. its intentionally misleading information.... and isnt about in-game politics...

The information is not misleading, and it is on-topic as it is a caution about what can occur if the person takes the most popular recommendation to avoid in-game politics.
