Can you add a new rule option?

Postby Truegamer22 on Sun Aug 16, 2009 1:57 am

I have played the classic game of risk for a long time, and this site is great at giving different opitions and maps to change the game play. I was wondering if there would be anyway you could add an opition to set a limit of how many troops someone could put on a country?

This opition would change strategy for every map and won't allow people to just drop 30 guys on to one spot and run the board it will take way more planning and strategy. I just think many people would like the change of pace and enjoy the choice of playing that type of game or not.

Please message me back and let me know what you think everyone! Thanks

Have a look in the suggestions & bugs forum. There was a suggestion like this just a few weeks ago but IIRC it gathered very little support.

there would be strategy in cutting someones numbers down so they could only put 12 guys near you. It would change the whole way people play the game and it would mix it up. This is how I have been playing regular board game risk for awhile now it makes the game a lot more skillful than just putting down 30 guys in one spot and rolling.

Search out previous suggestions in Suggs and Bugs and, if the idea has not been presented before, post it there (using the form).

we will go back to stating that I would like it to be an option which means you guys could CHOOSE not to play that way if you dont want to. Once again I was mentioning it because I think it would change the game just like fog of war or any other opition like chained or unlimited.

And once again, get your ass over to S&B. This is not the place for such a discussion and hence you will never get anywhere with the suggestion here...

Hehe, I get it.

However, I'm still filing an e-ticket to report you for trolling, flaming, and lack of capitalization on proper nouns.
