West Ham vs Milwall

The saddest sight i ever did saw.

check them both out for full story.

The sight of fans invading the pitch and yelling about people being attacked and fights going on outside is just stupid.

Liverpool 1 Aston Villa 3 :D :D :D

Apparently GK is a liverpool fan :s

I was wondering when someone would spot that little anomaly. In answer I will quote my first post in that forum

Gypsys Kiss wrote:Ever since I can remember I have suported both teams. My grandad used to take me to County games when he wasnt on duty. He was a copper and often had duty at Edgeley Park. I have followed Liverpool since 1978. As a kid I had 2 football kits, one of each.

I follow both with a passion and I make no apologies for supporting 2 teams.

But for the purposes of this forum, and indeed if they ever meet in a cup competition, I will be cheering on Stockport. And just to clarify things further, if I was Scottish I would be a Celtic supporter.

I do find myself becoming increasingly disenchanted with 'cheque book' football and care less and less about what happens in the Prem.

Well then for the first time on this forum i get to say, we sing it better and you ruined fields of athenry! :P

Sounds fair enough, but the one thing i find strange is that I don't think I have ever heard you mention anything about Liverpool ever on this forum.

As for tommorow night, we are 20/1 to qualify I reckon that's worth 5 quid :D

Please... i beg of you... for your own good... dont waste your money

i say this here and now, feel free to raid my wall if i, wrong, but...

YOU WONT GET THROUGH.

Will do :) And i don't actualyl bet on footy but if I did...

Arsenal 3-1 Celtic

Eduardo is a dirty cheating bastard. Apart from that there isn't much to say we gave it a go but over the two legs we had no luck, something you need to beat the big teams. Good goal from Doanti shame he was shite for the rest of the game. Also our support was fantastic, for once somebody was singing at the emirates :P

Yes Eduardo gave it some, there was contact but not enough to warrant a penalty. Sorry bout that pmc, but you still would have lost. You simply werent good enough to get 3 goals, any day of the year. Mcgeady looks good, first time iv really seen him and though he didnt play brilliantly, in that celtic team he looks like ronaldo.

So its between:
the 4 english teams -
Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Man Utd

3 spanish teams -
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Atletico Madrid
(i dont fancy Sevilla)

Inter Milan

Those are the only teams with a hope in hell in my opinion.

there are 8 debutant teams(!), then lots of third rate teams like Olympiacos and Rangers, plus second rate teams like Fiorentina and so on.

Im not looking forward to this year cl, looks like 8 good teams, and them 24 also-rans.

MMaybe we wouldnt have won but you never know, say you don;t get that penatly but we get the offside goal then its a totally different game. And in case you didnt notice rangers beat fiorentina two seasons ago, in penalties but still they arent a class apart. Rangers are second seeds and fiorentina are third. No one can compete with the money in england and spain but the old firm give a good account of themselves and far outshine teams with similar budgets and in similar sized countries. The new way they do the qualifying rounds for the CL is a joke it means that lots of lower level teams will get in every year.

Fiorentina are alot better than they were then.

And i agree, the old system worked better, this year you had arsenal vs celtic and sporting lisbon vs fiorentina, 1 of those is a semi finalist(arsenal), one a quarter finalist(Lisbon), one last 16 (fiorentina) and a constant groupstage force(celtic), yet two of them had to go out, while shitty little teams get in by playing each other.

I know why they have done it, they have done it so teams from cyprus and so on, who sneak in, get money from the group stage and become if a few teams do that the quality should go up in those leagues. It wont work that way imo as those teams will just dominate.

i would like to say well done to Fiorentina for beating Sporting Lisbon(on away goals), because this means that Rangers are in pot 2 now. :D

wouldn't mind getting Bayern, Sevilla or Liverpool out off pot 1. i'll take fiorentina out off pot 3 and we'll see what happens Sam.

i was at work so i missed the game last night.

I really can't see anyone beside the top 4, Barcelona and Real Madrid wining it. The teams in Italy just aren't strong enough, and no other league is nearly strong enough to compete. I think it will be very interesting to see how Barcelona and Real Madrid do, considering how they both were last season, and the new additions/losses to their squads for this season.

I'd like to agree man, and I mostly do, it's just that you can never assume these things; look at Greece in the Euro's the other year! Still, you're spot on with the watching with baited breath of who comes out on top regarding Real and Barca... My moneys on Barca, purely 'cos I f'ing HATE Real, and wish fervently that they would just f*ck off :D

Intresting draw, could have been worse tbh. We should qualify safely.

And Eduardo is getting what he deserves.

Another result pulled from nowhere. Two penalties for handball, the Saints at 45+1 and the Hatters at 90+5.

Are there any Saints fans on here?

How did we lose that, we played pretty well, you played shit, we had 10 men(you cant count diaby), you had 12. Not only that but fucking Eboue the piece the shit dives, what a total dickhead. And then the man united fans have the cheek to boo eduardo... Anyone who boo'ed eduardo was a fucking hipocrite since you have rooney and had ronaldo. Also the referee was petty, why send off wenger with 30 seconds to go for kicking a bottle? Not to mention not giving us a penalty but not spotting rooney was already going down before contact.

But meh, good game i spose.

Heh heh heh, yeah your lot played well apart from gifting us a goal and conceding a penalty. Although admittedly, Arshavin's was a cracking goal.
Eduardo's gonna get booed everywhere for a while man, just 'cos it's fun.
The ref was doing his job, it was a clear off-side so what was Wenger doing acting so uncharacteristically peevish, petty, childish and completely untypically blind to the events unfolding before his very eyes? [-X

And Liverpool are a bunch of cheating c*nts too, no way was that a penno!
