True. There's no way that it would be seen as fair to single one fall-guy out without precedent, however surely that's how precedents are set? Just 'cos it's unprecedented doesn't mean it's not right!
I'm sure everyone here agrees that simulation should have no part in footy, at the same time though every team has at least one player who has been guilty of it in the past (some teams more than most

) and every team will continue to have diving, cheating gits until the rules are tightened.
So basically it comes down to the governing bodies to stamp it out, not the teams, not the players and not the managers. Without the rules being in place, and being enforced by the ref's we're always gonna have these debates and disagreements ad nausea...
On a different tack, I was amazed that Adebayor stamping on van Persie was seen as more serious than his attempting to incite a crowd of 10,000+ to violence!
