I'm sure this has been discussed, but I have a question concerning missing a turn. So, sorry if this is talked about all the time or if it is a non issue. I just don't understand.
Myself and another player are the last two left in a game and there are no double turns. I go first, do my thing, then it's the other players turn to go. It could go either way at this point so timing is everything. We each own a few countries and of course a large portion of states. The other player lets time expire and then when the new round starts, he has double the armies, and can continue first without me going. This is in essence the same thing as a double turn but the player gets double the armies. At this point his double continent bonus wipes out any chance that I have and before I can play I am done.
What is the deal?
I guess the only way to combat this is to make sure you are online right when the new round begins?
Why when a player, player 2, misses a turn, can he start the next round without having to wait for player 1 to take his turn? (same thing as double turn)
