In the military, they make CLEAR in the rulebooks, what the privileges are; and those things that are forbidden to any troops remain forbidden to military leaders.

With the way the privileges and game finder are structured, there would have to be anywhere from 50-100 privileges to give out in order for each clan/usergroup to have privileges for within their group, as well as any that are needed for clan challenges. Under the current game finder, this would clog up the drop down menu that shows all the tournament games in the game finder. And that's assuming each group only gets permanent privileges once rather than for each time they run a tournament. There's also another issue with permanent privileges: it would allow freemiums in a clan/usergroup to make their own private games without having to pay for premium. Other logistics include that the current privileges have to link to a public thread, but that's not possible for in-clan tournaments.
My solution would be to have a separate privilege granter and game finder drop down that is labeled for clan games that the Clan Directors control. But I have no clue if lack wants to do this or find some other system.

your recent campaign to become a mod is wonderful. however, you keep repeating yourself and are speaking for team CC in a manner in which you truly are not qualified to do. if this is the stance they are going to take or have taken, they should say so. prime was in here and did not state this dictatorial slant that you are continually cap locking at me. you have no counter argument other than this argument which the admins and mods posting in here have not stated. simply put, in clear small words that are easily understood. you are not a member of team CC and thus should stop speaking as if you are a member of team CC. your repeated statement is not only counter to what has been stated and explained by an admin and a few mods (great answer nightstrike), but would also be detrimental to the site if so stated... CC depends on paying customers and volunteers to run this site. if they took the obtuse stand that you are continually declaring, they would lose memberships, and thus money. targetman, you are not answering the question or furthering the thread along, so why don't you go get involved in a thread that you have the capacity to actually contribute something constructive instead playing mod within this one...-0

If I remember correctly I asked one of the TDs about having a private clan tournament and he said," No private tournaments. They must have 50% of the spots open to the public. NO EXCEPTIONS."

would be helpful as a team building exercise for clans as well
