Yep. The offense needs to pick up the pace though. ACS is going to be a tremendous QB in the years to come and give other D lines things to worry about.

Arkansas is the best 1-4 team in the SEC
and they have an awsome QB.

Meanwhile Iowa is down to Northwestern by a touchdown
but they have the ball with 6 minutes remaining.

Wisconsin hangs on to beat Indiana 31-28.
Iowa falls to Northwestern 17-10 and the Big Ten is wide open again.
the Penn State/Ohio State game is much bigger now.

SEC West has it's first playoff game today.
Alabama wins and they'll meet Florida for the Championship.
LSU wins and they control their own destiny and the chance for a Florida rematch.

Indiana, despite their record, really has been playing well. Last year was tremendous, but even though the record has slipped, I'm really liking the way they play.

Iowa game today... I went to the game, what a frustrating day. 10 to 0 right off, then int, fumble, qb injury, int, etc....

rough, then they had to put in the true red shirt freshman at qb. i don't blame him, he is a youngster, but this bodes ill for next week, looks like stanzi had a pretty serious high ankle sprain.

Well that was an emberassment. Not only did the Offense stay home, but so did the Defense. Though, from a little research, it seems BYU's strengths were perfect for our weaknesses today.

He has no problem with blown calls when they go his way though. Either way Alabama still didn't look as good as they did earlier in the season bu they did deserve to win that game.

God I hate being a student at UConn...

5 losses by a COMBINED margin of 15 points. Excruciating. I can't watch them play anymore.

A combined score of 15? That's it? Last week Wyoming lead the No. 19 Utes for 3 straight quarters and lost by 12 in the end when their offense finally woke up and our defense was being run down.

Today we were completely dominated by BYU in a worse score then when we faced the Longhorns. 52-0. What the hell are you complaining about?

I'm complaining about the fact that the team is more than capable of winning the games yet cannot seem to pull it through in the fourth quarter.

We've blown a 10-0 lead, a 21-3 lead, and a couple other leads that 100% were winnable.

Very admirable that your that proud of Wyoming's football team but come on man.. Texas didn't even play the first half of that game and we still went in to halftime with the lead.

I did think Alabama was the better team, but the interception where the defender left two divots on the field of play and was called "incomplete" and then reviewed and upheld. Maybe the review official didn't have the replay that was shown on TV, since he only needed one foot in and possession of the ball. It could have been a huge momentum shifter for LSU, but instead of a turnover it resulted in a Bama field goal.

Other calls missed helmet lead hit on the LSU QB and the hold by the tight end that sprang Ingram for a 30+ yard run. It wouldn't bug me much except at one point Bama had one penalty to the Tigers' nine and a few of these had an impact on the game.

Still, these teams were well matched and it was an excellent game.

Our offense cannot stay consistent. It seemed we were getting better and better throughout the season, with a 3 win game streak. Then a tough loss to Air Force (highly ranked Defense and rushing) with no score until the 3rd quarter, an early lead against Utah which was capitalized by an excellent trick play, followed by being shut down and a big interception costing us the game, and now today we are completely shut down from the get go. We still have a shot at a bowl if we beat SDSU and what looks to be a good chance over CSU, but we also host TCU. Which I have nothing against, they are proving to be a top team. What is being a low blow for Wyoming are these shut-outs. Air Force, at least we held them to below their average points, but our D (ecxept John Fletcher, who is amongst one of the best tacklers in the nations (3rd I think) was the only one to keep going) either couldn't or wouldn't do anything for the entire game. Fletcher is good, but he cannot stop an entire team.

By 3 points. We even had a small lead over Texas for a short time (admittedly) but a lead nonetheless. As well as McCoy throwing right to a Cowboy. Don't get me wrong, I have respect for the Longhorns, I am just saying that I was expecting better from the Cowboys today. I'm not exactly the only Pokes fan upset by this disaster.

true...I just used that as a petty way of getting at Urban Meyer...there were some blown calls in that game but with the exception of the missed interception call (actually one of the more reasonable missed calls) I don't think any of them really had game changing potential.

other than that is Ingram the front runner for the Heisman?

Blown calls may not have changed the outcome, but they certainly had an impact on the game and there may might have been a very dramatic finish to this hard fought contest had the refs been on top of things.

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I'm of the opinion that defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh from Nebraska should be the front-runner at this point. Yes, that's right...I said defensive lineman.

The unfortunate thing is the Heisman tends to be an offensive trophy (a shame really as there have been defensive players in the past who deserved to win it or at least make the final cut). I don't know enough about Suh's actual stats to say if he deserves it.
