I was talking about cowboy. Is that not correct?

It depends on the mod, but usually when a person is lynched they can still talk up till the death scene is posted. The period between when the final vote was placed and when the death scene is posted is generally referred to as "Twilight."

So, until the mod clarifies different, I say keep posting cowboy.

11 Total Votes are needed for a Lynch or No Lynch

I remember a game that I played on another forum where an experienced player said it's possible to find scum on the way the vote takes place.

He mentions that the third voter (or around there) votes in an attempt to get a bandwagon started. The next to last voter may try to get some random person to put the final vote on somebody to lynch them.

In this case Puff and Houssam seem to fit the bill. Wether they are mafia or not is unknown, but Puff has appeared suspicious. Also the last voter, red bull, also appears suspicious to some people.

You're right Auto! I went back and re-read the rules and it states "once your death scene has been posted." I've never noticed that since we've never really had a delay between the lynch and the actual death.

Yeah, I never realized that either. It seems like a fault in the system because once a majority is reached no one can vote or unvote but new substantial info is still allowed to come out? Oh well, it looks like I was wrong cowboy and you can post anything you want until your death scene is up.

The night was slowly creeping in, and the school was getting restless. Tensions were high, and tempers were flaring. Lt.Mustard sat quietly in the corner, just watching and taking everything in. Machiavelli and Senfive were arguing loudly across the room. The others just watched and listened to them go at it. Moz976 jumped in between them bringing up that he had seen dcowboys055 sneaking out of the school at nights, and how he was always quiet inside school as if to remain unsuspicious. People started questioning him and dcowboys just started singing loudly, ignoring all the questions and demands. Moz was getting upset, so he threw the first punch and hit dcowboys squarely in the jaw! Others started jumping in, beating on dcowboys! He fell to the ground under a flurry of fists and kicks and didn't even protest, he remained silent the entire time.

With a final kick to his head from red bull, dcowboys, Paige Guthrie AKA Husk (ProTown - "Vanilla Mutant") lay in the common room bloody and beaten to death.

The still angry mob started to move his body out to the graveyard in the back of the school. When they got there, they noticed a flock of birds picking at something under the big oak tree. They walked closer to investigate and found Puff, Eric Lensherr AKA Magneto (ProTown - Insane Doctor), decapitated and halfway buried in the ground.

Let the 2nd Night begin! Send in your night choices!

The long night drags on as whispers and accusations are heard around the schools hallways. Moz feels slightly guilty for dcowboys death, but he forgets it quickly. Almost nobody sleeps this night, too much has happened the last few days and it isnt close to being over yet.
When the sun finally rises, the students crowd together closely as they walk down the stairs and out to the courtyard.
Wicked lets out a high-pitched scream at the grotesque sight of Kernal_Kronic, Neal Shaara AKA Thunderbird ("Vanilla Mafia"), lying face down in a pool of his own blood.

Lt.Mustard has been expelled from the school for lack of posting and Huguenots will be taking his place.
Dussle got grounded at home and can't play anymore, so Hitman079 will be taking his place.

Lets get the third Day going!

Great night for the town :D

But I admit I screwed up in reading cowboy.

Anyone have any insight on why a mafia member was killed at night?

and did anyone get any intel last night?

Possible scenarios:

- vigilante got a hit, role blocker stopped mafia kill?
- mafia tried to kill someone who was protected somehow and mafia died instead?

The second one sounds the most viable to me. I'm sure there are other scenarios I'm overlooking though. Thoughts?

Whatever the reason, this bodes well for us! :D

Rojo, who did you investigate last night?

I've been checking for this thread to be unlocked almost constantly to find out what happened at night. A mafia member is dead and no townies? Awesome!

Puff's death at the end of the day was not very good, but I suppose it was like the mid day kill on day 1. I think I am still set on the idea of two different mafias because I don't know how else to explain how 3 of the mafia have been killed off. No vigilante is that good. Except there was only one night kill this time? I think that must be a roleblocker of some sort who prevented another death- though maybe I'm just hanging on too strongly to the double mafia idea.

Can someone explain the 'vanilla' term to me? People were talking about cowboys being a vanilla townie when he was near being lynched but I don't know what that term is. Now we have a vanilla townie and a vanilla mafia. I tried searching the forums of mafiascum but its just a bunch of people saying someone is vanilla mafia but never an explanation as to what that means. Sorry for being a noob with the lingo!

Also of note- everyone who was named an inactive poster is now gone. We lynched cowboys, kernal died at night, and dussel was replaced along with Lt. Mustard.

Dear Huguenots and Hitman079: Thank you for replacing them to keep the game going. Read up on everything and make some posts as you catch up so we can understand your thoughts. Right now it is impossible to have a read on you guys so its going to be important for you to post a decent amount when possible.

I never heard the term vanilla used to explain a mafia member, but regardless, the term vanilla means that you are a regular townie or regular mafia member with no special powers.

However, you didn't know what the term vanilla meant ahead of time, so,

TFOS: Sully

Let me explain. If you didn't know what the term vanilla meant, you would have probably asked AK_iceman (game mod) what it was when you recieved your role pm. However, you are now asking, which leads me to believe you are either a power role or a mafia member. I only laid a tiny FOS on you, because I have a gut feeling that your Pro-Town. I'm unsure as to why though.

Well that is excellent deduction that I am not a vanilla townie OR a vanilla mafia.

there's no reason to claim sully! WTF? I'm shocked as hell we didn't lose Rojo last night, and am curious to hear what he found out. actually losing Puff might not be such a bad thing, since he was apparently insane. :?

I'm also curious as to why Rojo is still alive. Seeing how at least one Sane Doctor is still alive, I would be led to believe that they protected Rojo.

If the mafia targeted Rojo, we may be dealing with a noobish mafia. As in they targeted Rojo, but because he was protected (if this is true), it was a wasted attempt.
