Psst... colton... I don't believe Nebraska is going to upset Texas
in the Big 12 Title Game.

Pittsburgh and Cincinnati meet next week to determine the Big East Champ
and it's still a winner takes all game.

I won't speculate these rivalries, Texas had a tough game Thursday night,
Alabama had a tough one today and there's a few scheduled for tomorrow.

yes and Alabama was able to pull them out without the officiating crews turning a blind eye on a few plays (Cody removing his helmet was one that could have been called but I would have turned a blind eye to a player getting a little overzealous about preserving the perfect season for another week.)

Alabama has also been tested more this season. Quality teams Alabama has faced: Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina, Auburn, Arkansas. Quality teams Florida has faced: Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, SC

I tuned in just in time to see the upset. Ironic it seems that Pitt was the one who upset WV the two years coming into this one.

We'll find out next Saturday. It took all Florida had last year to beat Alabama and they haven't been as good this year.

Ironic since Chris Leak got most of the snaps in that first championship. Second I'm sick and fucking tiredd of hearing about Tebow as if he is the god of college football...He's not, he's struggled without Percy harvin and his OC, get over it.

Sorry to burst the bubble of whoever is claiming Tim Tebow "hardly played" during the 2006 season, but he passed for 358 yards and 5 touchdowns that season as well as rushed for 469 yards and 8 touchdowns. That's a total of 827 total offensive yards and 13 touchdowns. Those numbers are better than a majority of full time offensive starters on most Division 1 teams.

Hate to break it to you, but Tim Tebow gets to claim that first national title in 2006 just as much as Chris Leak does.

Next time make sure you know your statistics before claiming someone didn't do as much as people say. ;)

I would think it was a better upset but Texas should be motivated by being cheated out of the NT picture last year.

I would agree based on the fact that he seems to be a player oriented coach not a team one.

He did get a lot of snaps, but if I was to honestly say which qb did more for them that season I would say Leak. He was the starter he had most of the production he was the one who did the most to earn them the ring. That and I hate this one player wins the game crap. Florida would have lost to Oklahoma if it wasn't for a couple big plays by Harvin and a very good game by the defense.

Florida woulda lost to Oklahoma if Stoops wasn't such an idiot to keep running the same old crap every series, he ran the damn dive play 4 times in a row in a goal line series that got shut down each snap. Never threw a back corner throw to Iglesias in that situation.

or if the Big 12 woulda sent the true contender for the NC (Texas) .056 my ass

First of all, Tim Tebow has to struggle with Percy Harvin gone. He had to adjust to a passing game with less depth. None of the Florida recievers have what Harvin brought to the team. This in turn makes it harder for Tebow to find the support to be the explosive blowout team they were last year. My case is clear when you put those together and still see Tebow doing what he 'HAS' to do to win games. I do believe Bama is the better team this year, but I can almost guarantee that it stays close and low scoring. Overall points 50 or less.

Oklahoma didn't have a chance last year, and I believe they are lucky they didn't have to play Utah. They would have been embarrassed worse than 'Bama was. You Big 12 fans are all the same, you think your teams are immaculate, but when you play someone outside of your beloved conference and get beat, you blame poor coaching. Bob Stoops is an idiot, that's why he's in the Big 12. Idiots think alike.

That's about as dumb a comment as I've read in a long time.

On the Tebow remarks, of course it's a team game but nobody
can deny Tebow has been a big piece of the Florida puzzle for
his entire tenure there. It's never been Tebow vs whoever and
has always been the Gators as a team. Just like Harvin, Tebow
is a big contributor and impact player for Florida...
to believe anything else is just silly.

Crazy talk, you and TheMissionary must be brothers. No wait your SEC'ers.

Georgia wont stop that option.
Tebow makes Florida a contender every year.
Alabama's D will stop Tebow/Florida's option dive and go to the big show
Texas will show up and show the SEC what the Big 12 offense can really do
Nay sayers will say "It was a down year in the SEC, and thats why Texas tromped us like that"
Life will go on

Georgia is going to need a great game from everyone to slip past Georgia Tech. It's certainly something they
are capable of... then again, so is the Rambling Wreck. As a rivalry matchup I'm hoping it's a great game, but I expect Tech to roll.

Oklahoma looking to end OSU bid for a BCS bowl.
Probaly the worst 23 seconds ive ever seen though just played by OU. At OSU's 40 they run a draw with 2 timeouts left but neglect to use a timeout until theres 3 seconds left and then try a hail mary but get sacked

I never said Tebow carried the Florida team solely on his shoulders, I just say he has to contribute more this year; than previous years, to get the job done as he has less support around the team. That's why he's rushing more, passing less, and breaking records.
