just curious as to the specifics, homer doesnt have 5 points for having a sig, homer ran that sig for about 2 weeks, wasnt aware that you need to keep it for the duration, please clarify

At the time I checked sigs and avatars, Homer wasn't using his sig... but if Homer, or any other toons who didn't receive credit for their avatar or sig, post in this thread with their colors showing, I'll give them the credit.
Only those who are actively competing for Cartoon Personality will be expected to continue to use their tournament sig and avatar after this round.

Starting today, as in right now, any toons competing for Cartoon Personality who post in black font will lose 200,000 points for each post in black!

Based on point totals, their contibutions to this tournament and participation in challenges, the following 5 toons have earned the right to compete in the Cartoon Personality Finals:
Roadrunner
Mr. Burns
Kyle
Butters
Jeff

I and Lola were never eligible for the title, but I'd like to thank Lola (Suzy1) for her assistance and contributions. -Despite knowing that, by virtue of being my RL best friend, she was disqualified from consideration.
Both of us are now eliminated from competition, but will continue to post and keep the competition fair and, hopefully, entertaining.

The 5 remaining players now start with a clean slate, each having 1,000,000 points.
4 factors will determine the winner:
1) Ballots will be sent to each of the 5 players, Lola and me. Each player will select 2 of the 5 remaining players as their choice for Cartoon Personality. -Votes will be confidential and you cannot vote for yourself) The criteria will be in the PM I send out. Winner will be awarded 1,000,000 points.
2) Head-to-head combat! The 5 players will battle it out in a single game. Winner will be awarded 1,000,000 points.
3) A scavenger hunt will be set up and the 1st player to correctly post the item or items will be awarded 1,000,000 points.
4) A final count of smacks, starting now and concluding at the completion of the game. Smacks will be worth 1, 2, or 3 points, and will be judged by Lola for: Being in character, originality, and humor.
(Remember - using black font will lose 200,000 points for each infraction! Don't use black!)

P.S. - Cartoon Smackdown 2 will begin this Spring, and all participants of this tournament will be given first choice of characters, which will include the Disney bunch!

Mr. Burns: Also doing some research into these Nuclear Spoils. Hmmm.
Assistant: Sir. If you'd have read the markup about it you'd see that it kills territories, leaving 1 neutral in place of whatever was there before.

Mr. Burns: That scientist, who likes to read alot, has mention getting together to play a few games using the nuclear spoils. Normally I'd let the R&D department handle such endeavors, but I might be persuaded in a few days ... I have to see a few games (others) before I think its safe to jump into the room. I need to make sure I have my Dice-o-lator working properly.
Assistant: He did mention that they were team games too.

Aissistant: Sir. Maybe you should go to the plant and try it out for yourself. before any games.

Besides, concerning erasers, I always knew that the "safeties" on those erasers has to be in place before putting them in other peoples pockets. You people might hurt yourselves.

In reality, I used to work for a guy who's name was/is Mr. John Burns .. and about the time The Simpsons started on TV. Chemical Refining Industry. Lotsa' visual similarities between the cartoon character and JDBurns/Vista Chemical (google). Gave plenty of inspiration to this persons cartoon character. ANd a (in real life) scarey character (too).

As Lola Bunny and as Suzy1, I ask that you don't give up. I as well as you might have trouble in the games I am playing. And I am not eligible of winning anything here if not the tournament. But you are in good contention for Cartoon Personality and have brought alot of entertainment to this thread. You have played the character well. Amazing that you had a boss named Mr Burns! lol I like Texas as it is my neighboring state and I as well uphold the 2nd Amendment!!! OOC: Great addition to any tournament Elijah and Suzy, you've probably added a brand new dimension to any tournaments run from this point forward, should a organizer decide to pursue it. A suggestion for the future, would be to have folks post a character profile of their interpretation of their character which will likely make it easier to prevent anyone thinking they're being flamed and make it easier for you to have an idea of how close to IC a person is. I know early on I probably pushed Butter's character more towards that of Stan/Kyle... but I think I found my inner Butters after a little tweaking.(not Tweak) GL to all you finalist!

{Dougie comes running up to Butters backyard as fast as his little legs will take him. He stops for a second to unlatch the wooden fence gate the separates Butter's front yard from the back.} Butters! Buuuuuutters!! {gasps for air}

I need--to talk-- to Prof--ssor Chaos.
{Butters demeanor immediately changes from that of a carefree 9 year old to that of a determined... 9 year old} I see. Come with me.
Butter turns and walks purposefully into his house through the glass sliding door, with Dougie following closely behind. They walk through the kitchen then to the living room where the wooden staircase leads to the second floor and Butters room. They run into Butters mom in the hallway on the way to Butters room.
Oh, hi Butters, hi Dougie, what are you two up to?
Oh.... nothing mom.... just going to play with, um... my trucks, yeah, my trucks.

Butters and Dougie hurry past Butters mom to his room. Butters locks the door behind them and then joins Dougie by the closet. Butters enters and shuts the door behind him. His transformation is seamless and well practiced. He reemerges from the closet in less than a minute. He now wears a green cape adored with aluminum foil gloves, shoes and helmet over his favorite teal jacket and green pants.

A stuffed bear named, "Bobo" in the middle of the road on top of a red "X" for Mr. Burns.
A shoe box with a familiar shaped piece of poo with a Santa hat in the middle of the road on top of a red "X" for Kyle.
A copy of Aquaman Undersea Christmas in the middle of the road on top of a red "X" for Comic Book Guy.
