Gray not Silver or Slate

When the color codes are added to the map an (s) appears next to the 8th spot color...some argue silver, some argue slate but it is actually gray (#808080).

I guess if were outside of the US it would be...although regional variant in spelling aside, it would visually still be the same colour.

Take a look at this Game Settings page (http://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?mode=settings):
"Do you want troop values on the map, player names, and spoil names to be prefixed with the first letter of each colour - i.e. (r)ed, (g)reen, (b)lue, (y)ellow, (p)ink, (c)yan, (o)range, (s)late, (n)eutral?"
I take your point, but the colour code obviously cannot be g: .
