Game log - Details on who attacked you but failed?

Postby BaggyPantalons on Sun Jan 17, 2010 3:26 pm

Is there a way to tell who attacked you but failed to take over your country/City?

The game log records if the player successfully took over a country but not if they assaulted and failed. Is there a option or a game setting that I'm missing?

Thanks,

No, this isnt a feature at the moment, it would probably make the game log too long.

Something like that has been considered for an update to the Gamelog. But I don't think the priority of the idea feature is very high.

Because really...that sort of information is useless. Who would possibly want to know who was attacking them?

I would like to know who's noob enough to pointlessly kill half of my stack in an escalating game so I could foe him and not deal with such stupidity in later games.

Damn, there goes another sarcasm meter. I've got to buy a heavy-duty one, I guess.

I would like to know how I can take a snapshot of game to see what happened between turns, info could be valuable if you can see what was farted and how many was lost. hard to remember how many opponent troops was around me from turn to turn.
took a copy image and pasted to ms word but only gives numbers in same pattern as game board but no game board (back ground). I thought I read somewhere that you could take a snap shot for strategy evaluation later but don't remember where.

If you use Firefox, you can use BOB (via Greasemonkey). BOB is a very useful utility for Conquer Club and one of its features is a snapshot utility (but I have never used it yet.) Greasemonkey is a Firefox add-on that supports user-defined scripts like BOB which modify web pages on the fly. Check out the forum topic: BOB 4.10.3, but be sure to check the final post as well, as BOB is currently malfunctioning for some users, and there is a temporary workaround for that, if you are one of the unlucky ones.

Have you tried the "Print Screen" key? Usually works like a charm no matter what browser you use.

True enough, though if you're playing a large number of games that would be...well, that would be worse than not knowing the information, frankly. <chuckle>
