Not really wanting to argue here....but that is the thing about subjective opinions...people might disagree and nobody is right or wrong. Dancing in the Dark is a catchy tune and has a great beat to actually dance to...strike wolf wrote: Really? Me too, thanks for the giggle.TheProwler wrote:I looked it up....1997....time flies.2dimes wrote:A "few" years ago?
Yes pink cadillac would also be listed above it. I realize it's subjective. I get really worked up about music though...to me there's no greater entertainment.TheProwler wrote:Not really wanting to argue here....but that is the thing about subjective opinions...people might disagree and nobody is right or wrong. And you didn't even list my favourite rock song of all time...which is actually a Bruce Springsteen song...Pink Cadillac...rock the way it was meant to be.

Aint she great? On their pop comeback hit "Alone", the best part is the second chorus where she skips the first 2 lines and just vocalizes.b.k. barunt wrote:"Crazy On You" was the best female vocal since Grace Slick in "Somebody to Love".

All those songs you mentioned I also like, but I like dancing in the dark better, the topic is Favorite Rock Song not Best Rock Song.strike wolf wrote:Really? Your not confusing this with The Captain and Tennille - Love Will Keep Us Together, are you?nagerous wrote:Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
More post-punk than rock but it's certainly my favourite song in the 'rock' genre.
True for me as well..john9blue wrote:I feel like whenever I get a favorite song, I listen to it enough to get sick of it, and then it's not my favorite any more. I enjoy variety.
Not at all. The title is a deliberate cynical response to that song. It is an all time classic, I am surprised you've never heard of it!notyou2 wrote:Your not confusing this with The Captain and Tennille - Love Will Keep Us Together, are you?nagerous wrote:Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
