Sequence of escalating card values?

Postby Army of GOD on Thu Apr 15, 2010 12:23 am

I get the beginning of the sequence goes 4, 6, 8, 10...but after that? Is there a formula?

You didn't have to say "20" there. It goes up by 5 after 15.

The real funny thing is, after 12 it goes briefly up by 3. Just one time. Why the lone 3 between those 2:s and 5:s ?

Sir, ah, K, thanks.

Maybe they realized that it'd be easier in terminator games if they just went up by fives, but they had already written "12" in non-erasable pen, so they tried to pull a fast one. Sir.

Why not start the cashes from 5, then go up by 2 until 15, then go up by 5... 5,7,9,11,13,15,20...It would have been more logical imo. But I guess CC just copied the cash numbers from the board game that shall not be spoken of ;)

Its quite easy for them to get high in stale freestyle escalating games. Also i remember sitting for someone where they were just making them go up and up, they were at 1000+ in a 1 vs 1 game.

Perhaps the site should add a special game option: Island spoils, with cards worth 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42, repeat ad nauseum.
