I thought I heard someone on tv mention mothers day. i wasn't aware its a different day in the uk and the us.

Yes....and....obviously.... Since I cannot personally call mine, complimenting all mothers, was all I could do on Mothers Day in her memory. I knew her pretty well. I don't think she'd mind.
