Please tell me you're just making a satirical reference to how new mods are perceived by the CCers, and not actually just making one of those tool-ish mistakes that are the reason new mods tend to be perceived in such a low light.

what if they really are stupid and their examples are so unrelated and you are unable to begin to state why the reasons are stupid, then its ok.

Up to the mod comment, things were actually running pretty smoothly.

If something serious did come up, then I'm confident the local ConquerClubbers could have identified dealt with it. Perhaps they would need to be reminded to keep it to the PMs, until one of them gets KO'ed then complains, but with PMs it's all behind closed doors and it keeps the fora clean.

Usually, if you cannot say why the ideas are stupid, they are not actually stupid.

Also, failure to understand someone else's point, or agree does not mean its automatically stupid. Even if it does come from a flaming liberal or socialist.

Explaining what ad hominem is doesn't involve flaming, trolling or insulting, since in that case there should be a victim. In examples often used to explain this kind of stuff, the victims are often ficticious.
