Wow, this thread has gone far downhill after the necrobump. It's good to have the opportunity to readdress it, though.

A. Here's proof you can take tdans off of your respect lists and move him to "The top 5 players you would share a banana with" list.

B. After a few nights in jail, rehab and Kentucky, I've revised my list since May 2010. If you'd like to see it in full (and with your name atop, please send me an echeck to beckytheblondie@hotmail.com)

C. Respect is a hard word to define. Do we define it in Ali G terms or Rodney Dangerfield terms or Aretha Franklin terms? Does it mean of another player on the game board or does it mean to another player in the forums or does it mean towards another player in bed? Can you respect a player with hubris? With humility? With Tenacity? With a HUGE ? I just don't know what respect means nowadays. But I know what it doesn't mean.

It doesn't mean "expired halloween candy" because then I would have a LOT of respect.

About the OP.
army of nobunaga is one of my favorite guys on CC right now. I grew up in a trailer park where my grandmother raised me. She's an NA, and my grandfather was an immigrant/war hero. No one had money, but I they taught me that my word was all I ever needed, so to protect it. Lying is a great disrespect to my last name. So, for that reason, I think army of nobunaga is great. He's the only person I've met that takes his word as seriously as I take mine.

I don't have a top 5 because there are so many players in the tournaments who deserve to be named but there's one guy who really deserves mentioning and it's ZionT. Reaching brigadier and just by (mostly) playing tournament games, this is awesome. Plus, he has a great personality and attitude towards the game.

1. Simmons - I'm not sure how much I respect him really. But at least he amuses me at times.
2. I'm going to use this spot to go minus one for HA. He was just on too many lists and I got to balance out the respect with some disrespect. I'm getting inside your head HA. Do you hear me in there? I'm inside your Head! Head! Head! Head! Head!
3. PrincessTK - She's been a good friend on here although I've been really lazy about keeping in touch.
4. squishyg - She is super positive. She'd have to be to be my doubles partner.
