I dont like the ocean/river color, but it fits the pastel color scheme you have going i suppose.

Did a little tweaking on the map and finished the XML (hopefully!).
Is there any to actually play this map to see how it plays?

You might want to check your XML, I clicked on it and it didn't work..

The XML is not supposed to 'do' anything, armychick.
Did it not open the file in your browser? It works for me... When you click on it you should see a file that starts like this:
<map>
<title>South Africa</title>
<smallwidth>600</smallwidth>
<smallheight>450</smallheight>
<largewidth>800</largewidth>
<largeheight>600</largeheight>
<filetype>jpg</filetype>

lose the parchment scrolls. they don't fit with the map style.

I had a simpler legend on the first attempt, but was told it looks to boring! I changed the legend on the Large image - check out page 1.

This is a map of the official districts - Some liberties were taken because of playability, but I'm trying to stay true to that idea.
So there is no Port Elizabeth, Durban, Pretoria etc.

Did not see that last change of the legend, i agree the legend on the large map now looks the best.

Is the texture of the sea and the neighbouring lands in the north not to much ?

New versions on page 1.

I have toned it down a bit, but on the small map the text is still not very readable. I'll work on that...

small looks to me very small, is that the correct size ?

Can you place armie numbers on the shadows in different colors, so we could see how it looks

Posted image, on page 1 again, with armies from the MapMaker.

I see the armies are not perfectly positioned, but I will sort that when it becomes necessary...

I made the small map 75% of the large map. I believe this is the standard?

Has the position something to do with the XML file ?

The crossing of the rivers, can you make the better, I see the borderline in the water of the crossing.

Updates on page 1.

Small map is now 640X480 and seems more readable.

Dankie Nikita.

Yet another small update - just changed some filenames and changed the font color to black in Eastern Cape.

Anymore ideas?

Should the one way attack routes stay?
