I'm thinking people expect this game to be silly, so they act silly. I don't think there's any other good explanation for all of the "interesting" developments here.

Flores is becoming WIFOM, would a jester act like that, or is she trying to seem like a jester so we don't vote her. I'm not really prepared to lynch her to find out.

Violet's defending of Flores is slightly odd, but from the games I've played with Violet so far, defending people seems to be her modus operandi in general

Victor and Skoffin are IMO just acting silly, having fun with this game.

Saxlad is the one that I'd genuinely like to see a claim from. Partly because i don't think he has enough experience to make a very convincing fake claim.

*sighs* well i suppose ill have to add my 2 cents here, first Sax cant hide behind the excuse of being a poor player forever, this is not his/her first game, so "he pretty much always acts like that" shouldn't be a solid defense.
On the other hand day 1 lynches are often random, and if we get him to claim, if we believe him to be town the doc could always protect him, is not like we could be handing him/her a death sentence, so ill put my money were my mouth is and unvote vote sax (and yeah im aware that unvoting is not mandatory in a fir game)

personally I'm willing to test commander9's theory about Big V and Flores being in cahoots with each other, I wouldn't even be surprised if Vio was involved too, there seems to be a lot of pressure towards Saxlad being piled up as a sort of distraction by these guys, trying to focus on the easy day 1 lynch.

No no, the trooth is that I've not played in quite some time and thus am quite rusty, plus it is a Fircoal game and as such figured it'd be alright to act goofy for a short time near the start and to also hide just how rusty I've become. I'll save showing my true ineptitude for tomorrow.
(It also doesn't help that Fir has practically punished me with my role)

Well, that's true as well - can't deny that. Flores, if you didn't quite understood, I wasn't advocating against his lynch - I was advocating against his lynch at this moment. We've barely got through a few pages and I'd rather see more stuff going through this and perhaps, just maybe, we'll catch something that otherwise shouldn't be here. These talks are definitely beneficial and lets just see who has something to say.

you know at one point I actually thought that would be an interesting, though not really good strategy for someone to take. Particularly because there are a lot of people in mafia who for very good reason would have no problem if you were lynched or killed because if you are playing shittily as you say than you really aren't helping the town at all regardless of what side you are on. Plus acknowledging that you do so is suspicious in and of itself that you have already had reason to think of it.

Secondly,you are too quick to claim seriously or not. Claiming is a last defense, you could at least try reasoning with people first. I am telling you this for your own best interest. I think if you took this game seriously you could become a good player and to be honest this game is the funnest when people do take it seriously, of course joking definitely plenty of room in mafia as well. Though considering the PM I got from fircoal and what little I know about his previous games that does seem like a legitimate claim.

Flores: what caught my attention was your joke vote on sax at the time was the 5th vote on him once you disregard fir's vote. That's halfway to a lynch, I would have at least hoped for some actual reasoning by the time someone, especially an experienced player, would put the 5th vote on someone. Fir game or not. Your initial vote does seem legitimately silly but with victor and vio1et making points to say something in your defense you have become more interesting to say the least.
