Geez, I know you received PMS to play this but still... Your moves were criticised maybe because they didn't make sense for most people? Even after reading your explanation I don't know either what you were expecting with your Commander vote (again, we are not gonna get answers from his side for now) or why you claimed. Well I suppose you claimed because you "gave up". Now scum will probably NK you because of it, so I guess your problem is solved? Sigh...
It's really hard to find a case on Day 1, and when people "just want him lynch, no claim, no replacement!" it's screwing the chances of town. Violet, it is not ok to get yourself in a position where you have to claim at L-1 if you're an useful role like tracker. When you saw the votes starting to pile up on you, instead of stubbornly stay on your case and act like an expiatory victim saying it's ok to lynch you, maybe you should have considered the value you have as townie who has a night action. It's a general tip applicable to anyone because after Briars and this I'm starting to tire from some people considering it's ok to be against the whole town because they're "right". If that game was not enough evidence, yes people doing that will end up lynched, no it's not helping town in any way because you usually can't tell apart townies from scum on the wagon since it was a pretty justified vote. Now, I'm not saying you should have given up your views on Commander, but it would be good to add some nuances to one's pursuit of a case when you have a wagon on you. It might not have been, but I have a feeling this could have been avoidable.
Anyway, mafia can be played in many ways and is more interesting when it's done so but I think that advice was general enough to apply to many people, so don't take it personally =)
