If the United States had made reparations after the Civil War, that might have made more sense (ignoring the Treaty of Versailles sort of argument). Alternatively, we could just hit up the Anglo-Saxons who had ancestors who owned slaves for the loot. But stay away from the Greeks and abolotionists.

I think it's pretty clear that there are racists in the Tea Party, as there are racists in most other groups. There's a discussion I found on Youtube between Al Sharpton and Bill O'Reilly who, though from completely different sides of the spectrum much like pimpdave and PhatScotty, agreed that the NAACP and The Tea Party had racist people in their groups, but that the groups were not racist organizations because of it.

We can continue to go back and forth posting Youtube videos of racism from the Tea Party and racism from Democrats if we want, but we can hardly call one group or the other racist.

Still haven't seen the violence part yet, though. Not sure where you're getting that from. Is it the threat of violence?

This is not baiting. pimpdave is providing his arguments that the Tea Party is racist (and violent). If he's wrong, he's wrong (and he is wrong). However, we should argue against him rather than flame him or accuse him of baiting or trolling or whatever. When you or I post a conservative thread, whether it's wrong or not, people argue against us. They don't accuse us of baiting or trolling.
