Hi does anybody know how to put pictures in ur signature???

unless it has been disabled, but I dont think it has, you should be able to use them tags just like in a normal post, please let me know if I am wrong about this

Of course, this doesn't address the important question of whether or not you really want to have pictures in your signature.

I always wanted to have one... then I learned how to get one - then I used 3 hours chosing and pasting :roll:

now I don't want one ever again - I pasted everything from silly looking dogs to a map of a risk game to something so lame as a squirrel wearing a helmet and a bazooka claiming he didn't take risk seriously

no more pics with sign for me - ever again!

I wish I could block images in signatures or even BBCode alltogether. They can be so annoying

But I'm not keen on installing a phpBB mod just for that... each mod I install makes upgrading phpBB more difficult.

Lack, why do you want to block them? If it's because of the size then just put in the {rules and guidelines sticky} a maximum size and remove them from people who don't comply.

Good point, mrdexter. Oversized pics is a problem to be handled by moderators, not technology.

I like the pics in the sigs. When I see one, I know that is a post I can ignore because that person has identified themselves as a moron up front for my convenience. Person with a pic in his sig = narsisistic idiot.

All I can say is:
A narcissist is someone better looking than you/we are.

Let them have their pictures if they want as long as it doesn't affect CC in any technical bad way. Whats so bad about a picture?... many things might be come to think of it.

That said - I do stand by my earlier words higher up in this thread. But pictures can sometimes illustrate and/or explain a point better than words. So to deny them completly is something I hope will not happen. But maybe they are unnecessary with signatures?

All true. As you can see Im not in favor of doing away with them, if people want to put a big sign at the bottom of their post that pretty much says "Im a dufus, pay no attention to the above" then I consider it a service.

Pics in sigs = silly.
