It's possible, but I'd think unlikely. I mean, the person who drops the hammer on someone always get suspicion, regardless of whether or not the lynchee is mafia or townie or whatever. If the mafia were smart enough (ok, so spiesr is a good reason why they wouldn't be, but there could be others) to think up something like that, they'd probably have other ways of looking innocent.

IGS might be more suspicious because he hasn't posted too much, though.

I agree with possible, but unlikely. Which is why I didn't FOS I GOT SERVED. It's not that I think it's the case that that is what happened; rather, I think we should not rule that possibility out.

They can delegate the duty of being NK'd to one of their other mafia buddies. Dunno about the rest of their powers.

Beyond that, considering the way spiesr was acting, I wouldn't put it past the other mafia to put the hammer on his bandwagon just to get rid of him and throw suspicion off of themselves.

Doc, protect me because a huge target has just been drawn on my back!

Oh, and leave spin/cloud to burn! Real greatful fo you!

In any case, I dare say the mafia would target the more active/experienced posters, or those with a power role. Not that I think you're bad/inactive manda, but there're others leading the way more.

Well, it would be real stupid of me to try and give reasons why I should be killed, so I totaly agree with you :D
And aimless, I just felt like whining. Np man, it was a good conclusion and it gives me a reason to pester the Doc with requests for help (being a selfish bugger that I am  )

Well, enough spamming from me, let's wait for selin to make a defense. If he doesn't do it and 24 hours pass from the original FOS, I am voting for him (unless a better case is made, of course)

The vote count post of colaalone has a mistake:

First I voted for spinwizard, because he hasn't posted anything until that time and I thought someone not posting anything can't help us. After colaalone's explanation about spinwizard (that he is sick and will be replaced), i unvoted spinwizard and voted for spiesr. See respective posts!

Honestly said, after colaalone's explanation I had no idea who to vote. Also, I didn't have a clue why so many voted for spiesr. But the deadline was very close, so I joined you all to be able to have a lynch.

OK, I know that this is my third post in a row, but I (The One-who-isn't-mafia 8) ) think I found the second scum.
vote pancakemix for DESPERATLY trying to draw attention from spiesar during day one. I would put in the qoutes, but since there hasn't been much posts and most were short, READ THEM YOURSELVES! :P

Desperately? I didn't think I was drawing attention at all, let alone being desperate about it. I just didn't think he was mafia, so I ignored the bandwagoning.

Hmmm, he did seem to be defending spiesr, and his first two votes were immediately against people who voted spiesr.

He was probably desperate because spiesar got himself in trouble in the beggining of the game. But, notice how attamps one vote (nah it didn't stuck) unvotes and tries another. And reason for both votes are rather lacking.

I was poking fun at derf for having a dumb reason to vote spiesr, and then I was poking fun at unriggable for spelling 3 words wrong when he voted for spiesr for spelling maybe wrong.

Ok, I took trouble to make a little essay called: "Why should an intelligent townie lynch pancake" I know that it sounds stuck up (like I am saying that those who don't agree with me aren't intelligent  ) but, if you read this post, I think that you won't have any doubt left (and please remember, I am one of 2 guys least likely to be mafia 8) ):
The story begins with spiesar having 3 votes for voting NO LYNCH in his first post:
pancakemix wrote:If a townie does get killed, then we can eliminate bandwagoners the next day, so the random lynch does have some logic to it.

spiesar makes an accusation that I am bandwagoning (wich later got him hung  ). Narc and Aimless vote unit_2 for submarrining. spiesar swiches his vote from me to spinwizard (without even waiting for my response  )
pancakemix wrote:
Syzygy wrote:Why don't we rather let Unit_2 be replaced?

Because he might come in later on and try to defend himself, which he probably will.

I respond pointing out how lame siesar's accusation for bandwagoning is (without noticing that he changed his vote  ) But, then pancake gets another idea:

pancakemix wrote:Also, I think we should get rid of the non-posters, and since it's day 1, why not?

vote spinwizard

Translation: "Could we vote somebody who isn't spiesar, PLEASE!!!! spiesar points out that he DID unvote me. It doesn't matter to anyone, since it is not his vote for me, but the argument behind it that makes him suspicius.

No, wait, he did seem to convince someone  :
pancakemix wrote:He did unvote mandalorian

Then comes this:
Anarkistsdream wrote:
pancakemix wrote:Also, I think we should get rid of the non-posters, and since it's day 1, why not?

vote spinwizard

FOS: pancakemix

Try to get him replaced... Don't waste a lynch day. If we lynch a townie, like that, we have wasted a day AND a vote...

pancakemix wrote:I don't seriously think anyone else will vote for him. Besides, you're voting for Unit_2, another non-poster, so you shouldn't be one to talk.

Soooo...at the ending hours of Day 1, pancake is voting for someone who doesn't stand a chance to get lynched :-k Looks like a NO LYNCH vote to me.
pancakemix wrote:I read through the thread twice and did not find a single post by Unit_2.

Vote Unit_2
for previously mentioned reasons (i.e. lurking)

Unit_2 gets replaced by Kitten, and pancake postes one of the rare UNSUPICIUS posts of DAY 1
pancakemix wrote:Oh.

Now, please observe to consecutive posts and try to guess wich one is posted by a mafia member

And, I know that this is starting to look like I have a vendetta against pancake (wich I don't, outside this game of course), BUT here is one for a MULTI CHARGE!
Aimless wrote:I hate to bandwagon, but the deadline is approaching.

Here is a much shorter essay called "mandalorian is wrong (in the politest way possible.)"

1. I was seriously under the impression that spiesr was a townie. He turned out to be the godfather (which I didn't expect.) In the place you quoted me, it clearly says "We should lynch someone, not go No Lynch", so actually, that post was against spiesr.

2.I was simply pointing out that Unit_2 might come to defend himself. Nothing wrong with that.

3.Again, I am supporting my own view of a random lynch, and who better to get rid of than someone not posting?

4.I was talking to other people who, apparently, missed that post or were just looking for an excuse to bandwagon.

5.See number 3 for part one, and you completely ignored AD's hypocracy. So I FOSed him for being a hypocrite, and then he was just being sarcastic

6.I voted Unit_2 for ignoring the thread. He had the oppurtunity, but didn't take it. Then I unvoted to give s.xkitten the benefit of the doubt.

7.I was simply pointing out that exile hadn't unvoted. I was helping him.

8.That was directed at unriggable. In his unofficial vote count, he noted I had been voting erratically.

Thank you for reading that big long thing.[/i]
